DDE updates ????

Have any more restaurants been added lately ?

Pretty much every Disney owned table-service does it. Which ones were you looking for?

I don't expect them to add any more counter service - the only CS they honor it at are places where there are no Disney-owned TS (AK, the value resorts).

I was wondering if they were planning on adding any Epcot counter service.

I doubt they would add Epcot counter service since they have more sitdown restaurants there than in any other park.

I agree. There are no counter service restaurants in parks included except for AK since there are no full service restaurants in AK. The plan is really aimed at full service dining I think. The few counter service places included are just where there is no other option.

The exception are places like the POR food court.
It always helps to ask. But I don't of any WS counter service that honors the DDE discount. And I am sure for the reasons given above.

But I don't think POR food court is included. Just Boatwrights(full service) and River Roost which I think is the lounge. The food court at POFQ is included because there is no full service spot there.

But I have to laugh at myself. I read your reply and kept thinking...."Isn't POR food court counter service?" Finally figured out what you meant....at least I think I did? OK, so I'm easily amused.

Unless policy has changed recently, the DDE discount is allowed at the POR food court. I don't suggest eating there -- but from my experience they do allow a DDE discount.

Good to know, thanks. I don't see it listed on Deb's site.....too lazy this am to find my letter.

But I'll follow your advice and skip it anyway. Boatwright's is good for breakfast. We haven't tried any other meals there.

That's interesting because the letter from Disney Dining doesn't include the food court as being part of the plan. I wonder if the same employees work the food courts at POR and POFQ so it was just easier for both to offer the discount??
