Morning, Gents from chilly Cape Cod. The temps dropped into the teens last night, currently 13 degrees where I am, with wind chills it feels like -3. Burr....I'm staying in all day. As a precaution I let the kitchen sink drip last night. Didn't want to wake up to frozen pipes. To those who celebrate: Happy Friday. To those who have to work tomorrow: I'm sorry. Well, that's all I've got. Have a good day, gents, and we'll chat later.

Had a couple inches of snow last night so it was a pretty morning. Not enough to cause any problems so that is good.

3 Zoom meetings today so that should be fun. Have a good one all.

Morning guys! 55 here is south Florida. Had to wrap up in a blanket to take the dogs out this morning!

And, let me tell ya, when they are in their non-parade wear of Lycra, there's more Camel toe than a photo from Darcy on a Wednesday morning.

Sure! It's even warmer than yesterday's run when it was 0F. Or last week when it was -4F.

Enjoyed my last day of retirement by starting it at the eye doctor, even worse with the every other year dilation. I can barely cope with the drop in my eye, and don't know how anyone wears contacts.

I'm confident they'll let me stay on past next week, it's for how long that I'm wondering.

That's good, and I'm hoping you can get the more permanent gig there.

I'll occasionally see a FB post about women should not wear leggings or yoga pants without a shirt to cover their butt. I'd like to argue against the post, but I also want to remain married.

Depends greatly on the woman. Some should not wear them at all and if they do, cover with a tshirt, burka, blanket or all of the above!!

Norm good to see you're retirement Randall impersonation is winding down. To those of you on the east coast / north east hope the winter storm isn't too bad. Dan, thanks for calling it, one of your more "subdued" calls. Got a happy hour zoom with the 3 kids including SIL, they are a package set I'm apparently stuck with May your weekend include a little bourbon, some bacon a nice cigar, sleeping in late and some good family time. Afternoon, Gents! Just an afternoon check in for me. I got to talking to my supervisor today about the position and if I like it and would be willing to stay on. I of course said, "Yes, I would love to stay on." which is the truth. So she's going to make the arrangements to keep me on. She feels that with all the training I've gotten it'd be a shame to let me go. Quite honestly I agree. I mean, I went through a lot of training just to get to the point of being able to do the job. She also said there's really a need for another full time person in dept. I said, "I like the work, and would love to be able to come on full time, but barring that happening, I'll take all the temp work I can get." So while I indicated I'd love to stay on, I'd be happy with whatever I can get. So fingers crossed.

Nice way to end the retirement: A trip to the eye doctors. I never get dilated...I prefer to pay to have them scan my eyes with the laser scanning device they have.

We know you're position, so don't worry. I agree to some extent on the shirts covering the butts. Some people need to wear long shirts, and others can get away without long shirts. People need to know their limits. I, for instance, know my limits when it comes to wearing a banana hammock, aka a Speedo. I can't pull that off, so I don't.
