Oh, yeah!
But I can't help but wonder a few things.
How the jury member will get back in and have any chance of success.
If I was on the island, I'd be "No matter what, whoever comes back gets voted off right away, unless they have an idol that they can play.... then it's the next tribal."
Also what the "after" part will be like. No live audience and... probably the contestants at home, via zoom or whatever?

Well, there is the season they first did Edge of Extinction and the guy came back in to win in it. Spent only something like 11 days in the actual game. (For the record, I am not a fan of Edge for that exact reason, but I am glad they did it this season because there are too many good players to not give them some air time).
But I don't think that would happen in a season with all winners. I think they have more respect for the game than that, I can't see them awarding $2 million to somebody who really was already voted out and shouldn't be there.

Also what the "after" part will be like. No live audience and... probably the contestants at home, via zoom or whatever?

So Probst said the finale (the actual footage from the island) is nearly 3 hours (yes, my geek is showing and I usually watch his weekly video recaps on the Survivor Facebook page). So knowing that, whatever they do for the "reunion" will be minimal. They would certainly zoom in the finalists, probably have everybody on zoom, but likely limited questions and talking. I sometimes like the reunion, but if we're getting extra game footage, I would actually prefer that.

Most definitely. How much was the buff? I'm a fan, but not necessarily to the point of spending money (sometimes crazy money) on items from the season.

Well, several of the folks on the edge have idols. Also, once they're back in, they could win individual immunity. I personally would LOVE to see someone who was voted out come back and win it. Often times they were voted out because they were a threat, so who better to have come back and possibly take it. I still think of how Ozzie battled back and almost won. Was so disappointed he didn't. Granted, that was redemption island vs. edge, but similar in concept. One challenge short (same as Terry Dietz).

As mentioned above, I think there's something to be said for someone voted out and then battling their way back. The thing is there are always so many twists and unknowns, it's impossible to predict who will win and often it's not necessarily about who's the best, but who happened to be in the right place when twist X happened.

I guess that's one of the things I love (but also hate) --- Sometimes a person is eliminated because they're a big threat. Sometimes a person is eliminated because they're a moron (Phillip), but sometimes they're kept because of that. Sometimes they're eliminated because they're a physical threat, sometimes because no physical threat at all. It's what makes the show fun to watch, but sometimes has me swearing...when a really good, well deserving player is screwed because they're good. It's why I've never thrown my hat in the ring to try to get on the show...I can't be that devious/treacherous...just not me. Could do the challenges and survive without food (I've fasted for 7 days before)....just the lying and the back stabbing I couldn't do.

I'm not a fan of Extinction either. I think once you're on the Jury, that should be it.
I mean... I know what I would do "Listen everyone. Right now we're all on the jury. One of us has a shot at going back in the game. Whoever goes back, that's who the rest vote for."
Why not? You don't even have to say it. The person going back in the game is going to have a strong connection with the jury members.

I prefer that too. The after show is too drawn out for my taste. I do like to hear a bit about some of the game highlights, but...

That was close to happening last winter. We had a storm so I sent everyone home early in the afternoon. I stayed a couple more hours and when I tried to get out of the parking lot I couldn't make it. I was hunkered down in the office until about 9 or 10 pm until the plow showed up. Since that night I keep a sleeping bag in my trunk.

Smart move because you never know when that's going to happen. I know this one old attorney, who's long since retired, who was a young associate when the blizzard of '78 hit in the northeast. He said he looked out the window and saw it coming down pretty good and didn't think much of it as it was, "Just another blizzard." Well, he didn't think it was just another blizzard when he left the office. He said he made it home, but it did take him a few hours to do it.

Top O the Mornin Dads! Hope all are doing well with these crazy times. Major hospital in our area, Williamson Medical Center, communicated that as of Monday this week there were zero COVID-19 patients in the the hospital with the last one discharged this past Saturday. We are a pretty good populated county just south of Nashville so I found this to be some positive news regarding this thing. Since we started opening up more last week will be interesting to see what happens to the cases. Not trying to create any conspiracy stuff just thought I would share a bit where we seem to be beating this thing a bit in some areas. Be safe my friends.

Top O the Mornin Dads! Leak under the kitchen sink at home yesterday but all fixed. Lots of angst in our house last night during happy hour around wearing masks in the parks in August. Which led to no parades, fireworks, etc and what if pools aren't open at the resort etc. Will juts have to wait and see but still waiting for DCL to cancel our June 21 sailing before trying to figure out August. HAve a good one gents

That is good news. After two weeks, Georgia saw more cases, but less hospitalizations and deaths. It's not a conspiracy theory if it's actual data. Yes, it's good news.

3 souvenirs. Only had to go to my dresser. I have a bulletin board of pins as well, but those are upstairs.
