Not much to report from the North. Still cold.
Just have another 30 minutes to go then I'm off for 3 (maybe). Plan on catching up on some house chores that've been neglected for a bit and... doing nothing.

Or, you can continue to not do the chores, which then lowers expectations, so you don't have to do future chores. Apply this same logic to your work environment.

Nice that you got to spend some time with her. The teenage years are never that easy, some worse than others of course.My first DD wasn't too bad getting through it. I think the second one is going to be rough. She's only 11 but going on 16.

I always see the chefs on TV searing in the pan and then finish in the oven.

That's the restaurant way, and is pretty tasty. I do it the other way as normally I would smoke on some mesquite on an an indirect heat to get it up to temp and then sear on the chimney starter. My butcher gave me a great deal on the tomahawks (both for £25). I normally wouldn't do it in winter, so I only know the reverse way.

I didn't think Man City would overtake Liverpool after the way City played in December, but I was wrong. The speed of Sane, Sterling, and Aguero is just so much fun to watch. Chelsea laid an egg against Bournemouth, so it wasn't surprising. Man United is also playing very strong and may make the top four. Not sure why Man United is still searching for a new manager.

One of my best mates has just booked to go to WDW for what he reckons is the only time he's going. He's flying out in 7 weeks, and asked me to "sort out his restaurants and stuff". So that's gonna be a challenge.

I think Liverpool have to win every game from here on in to win the Prem. I don't think City are going to lose.
On the Man Utd front, I think he's had an incredible run, but there's no gain in appointing him right now. They've got nothing to lose by waiting. It's not like Real Madrid are going to come in for Ole. It will be interesting to see how he responds to losing a couple.
