I think I will avoid tennis from now on, just in case. (Like I've ever played before.)![]()

I'm with ya and don't play tennis either, and I sure ain't gonna start now
I hope it heals quickly for you. I think I will avoid tennis from now on, just in case. (Like I've ever played before.)![]()
Just hoping I can get in the pool with the kids.I hope you can heal up in time for the August trip. If not, you can zip around in an ECV I guess. Is that an upside?
Thanks mate. Yeah, stay away from the courts, they are lethal.I hope it heals quickly for you. I think I will avoid tennis from now on, just in case. (Like I've ever played before.)![]()
I would have done the same, but 12 weeks seems an awfully long time away.Aw man, that sucks! I have avoided all tennis the past two weeks for this very reason, with our WDW trip coming up on Monday.
Nice, we always mean to do this and then never want to give up afternoon time.DW managed to find an ADR for Beaches & Cream last night for our August trip
That sounds fun.Sun Jan 13 - California Grill Brunch
It's a horribly addictive sport, even more than running. Unfortunately it's one of the most dynamic. I was reading yesterday that when you push off to the net, at my height and weight, you are running 550-600 pounds of pressure through your achilles.
(shuddering)
I think we need a DDC tennis tournament. Courts at Boardwalk and Saratoga Springs. I'll run it and play in it.
On a pride note, by circumstance, my Godson and his sister (cousins) happened to be marching at WDW representing their HS. So, I cheered loudly for them and took pictures.

You can run the tennis tournament, I will run the beer pong tournament. After seeing pics here you can really get hurt big time playing tennis. the worst that can happen playing beer pong is maybe
the check liver light might come on
.
It was Great that you got to cheer on your Godson, it's a Godfathers job to make them blush at a moment like that, I have 6 Godchildren I've done it many times, the way I look at it is they will not say anything plus they are not coming home with you so it's all good
.
Safe drive mate, enjoy Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.Good morning for the last time at WDW this year (unless I win the lottery). Going to character breakfast at Trattoria and then onto Vero Beach Resort. I'll post a picture from the Green Cabin Room later.
So we have an organizer, player and a beer pong coordinator so I will be the first spectator and beer drinker.I think we need a DDC tennis tournament. Courts at Boardwalk and Saratoga Springs. I'll run it and play in it.
Very cool that you got to see him and hang for a bit. Nice job on the "Dad Cheering"!On a pride note, by circumstance, my Godson and his sister (cousins) happened to be marching at WDW representing their HS. So, I cheered loudly for them and took pictures.
Sorry about the last day but you planned well my 'Ole Padawan by wrapping up with a few days at Vero - looking forward to the Green Cabin Room pic, I love that place.Good morning for the last time at WDW this year (unless I win the lottery). Now how many Dads here know who Stacey J is? Well played as usual my friend. Hope you are doing o.k. with the injury, maybe you can get spoiled this weekend by the family in terms of bringing you food, drink, etc.Safe drive mate, enjoy Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
Right. That's it. I'm calling it. Work week over. Everyone out. Last one standing in the Green Cabin room for beers on Norm's magic band gets to take Stacey J home, for the top 10 things to do at Disney. And let me tell ya, I'm pretty sure No.3 and No.7 are still illegal in Alabama.
Have a good weekend chaps.

Good job there mate.On a pride note, by circumstance, my Godson and his sister (cousins) happened to be marching at WDW representing their HS. So, I cheered loudly for them and took pictures.
Do those calculations at my weight. Makes it really scary!!!![]()

Sounds good to me! I think we would have a lot of spectators, maybe not so many players...I will be the second spectator and bacon and dole whip eater.
Terrence posted this on the FB group:
Thanks for the reminder! I've been meaning to post but I've been too lazy. Here's what it shaping up to look like for the organized events:
Wed Jan 9 - AKL Wine Tour at Jiko 3pm
Thur Jan 10 - EPCOT - Biergarten supper (maybe fireworks show or non-park ticket required event?)
Fri Jan 11 - AK or DHS and Picnic at House
Sat Jan 12 - MK and Edison or Bar Crawl or Fireworks show (boat or party)
Sun Jan 13 - California Grill Brunch
We try to organize it so that the planned group events don't require Park Hoppers, but most of the impromptu stuff that happens does.
I may modify my plans. I was originally going to do the 7th-14th, but then realized that will require more than a week of vacation from work. I think now, I may do the full week and then bow out Saturday around 5pm. I will miss the bar crawl (not of interest to me anyway) or the fireworks show and the brunch, but at least that will give me Wed, Thu, Fri and part of Sat to meet up with folks.
Good day All.
Got to spend the morning with my son in his bio class helping him with this.

It was pretty cool but I did decide not to have the tuna I brought for lunch.
I bet CJ's daughter could have given you guys some pointers.
