It’s close as the tear is up by my calf muscle, which takes a bit longer to heal than a heel Achilles rip. Disney is 10 weeks away, this will be on for 4 and then a boot for at around 6. so worse case scenario I’ll have a heel boot on and a crappy tan line. If it heals quicker then I should be OK. Here’s hoping. I think the other thing if definitely off though.

So sorry to hear it Dan, but sadly, I do feel your pain. Prayers for a quick recovery. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, and your injury looks worse than mine.

Oh Yeah that hurtsHope it heals quickly Dan About 20 years ago I had a electric power jack run up the back of my foot and up my leg at work because someone had to cut in front of me. Only positive thing is once you get the air cast boot you will be able to get around a lot better.

I guess we are just getting old. I stayed for wishes twice since it's inception and I was, well, let just say happy from drinking around the world and man, that railing was a big help for a while the last time. Lol

Cheers for the vibes fellas. Learning how to get around on crutches, and do all the usual stuff, which is providing a bit of a challenge.
I'm now on a sofa diet, as I worked hard to get a 1 in my big number, and I want to keep it.
On the positive front, I'm basically binge watching everything.

Guess I'm glad I don't play tennis then.

It's a horribly addictive sport, even more than running. Unfortunately it's one of the most dynamic. I was reading yesterday that when you push off to the net, at my height and weight, you are running 550-600 pounds of pressure through your achilles.

Wed Jan 9 - AKL Wine Tour at Jiko 3pm
Thur Jan 10 - EPCOT - Biergarten supper (maybe fireworks show or non-park ticket required event?)
Fri Jan 11 - AK or DHS and Picnic at House
Sat Jan 12 - MK and Edison or Bar Crawl or Fireworks show (boat or party)
Sun Jan 13 - California Grill Brunch

We try to organize it so that the planned group events don't require Park Hoppers, but most of the impromptu stuff that happens does.

Hello Gents, DW managed to find an ADR for Beaches & Cream last night for our August trip. It's a late one, at 8:40pm so I don't know how I feel about having a pile of ice cream that late, but we'll keep checking for an earlier one (we were hoping for mid-afternoon, for a nice break from the heat)

Aw man, that sucks! I have avoided all tennis the past two weeks for this very reason, with our WDW trip coming up on Monday.

I hope it heals quickly for you. I think I will avoid tennis from now on, just in case. (Like I've ever played before.)
