Oldest dd's swim relay team medaled at Regionals, but not fast enough for state cut. And so, swim season ends.

Congrats on the medal! Not a bad way to finish the season.

I'm finding this one really hard to follow due to the time difference. I guess there were a bunch (Vancouver, London, Rio) that weren't too different in terms of time. I didn't find Sochi that bad.

I really enjoy watching the skiing. Been a bummer that the events keep getting postponed due to high winds.

The 17yo lad from the States had a great run. Nailed it.

That was impressive. He didn't look like he was old enough to shave yet.

Morning all, Happy Pancake Day from the mother country. Our corner cafe was doing kids eat free for half term, so we took them up on that. Pancakes for dinner.

I was also happy for another Kaetlyn, a Newfoundland-born girl winning gold with Team Canada in figure skating a couple days ago.

No, but funny you should mention it. I local team won men's curling gold at the 2006 Torino Olympics. My city took a whole subdivision and named a street for each player. I actually live on one of those streets.

They said they wanted to move quickly on the position and I should be hearing from them soon.

If it hadn't gone well, the hiring manager wouldn't say that.
