If it's like the pizza you get in the US
I know Rome is the light, but even New York? Chicago?
You watching the hockey mate?

EDIT: Just seen your FB update, so I guess you are.

This A&M/Wake game is fun if you like offense. Last team with the ball wins.

So how come it took until the 90s to get a decent frickin' slice of pizza?

Because you were perfecting how to make chips. And if the one fish and chip place I visited is typical, you did well. Plus, pizza is an American invention. Italy was more of a flatbread.

Don't say the word! He said the word!

What? Nee?

Yep, we learnt to boil them to perfection.

You do have a tendency to boil your food.

Maybe if you get something besides cheese or pepperoni it could be OK.

Watching the game and they are playing outdoors in Buffalo. Not sure who had this bright idea but the conditions are terrible. I guess they figured the Bills wouldn't be needing to use the stadium. Canada leading the US 3-1 heading into the 3rd period.

Not much of an intrastate rivalry game as UK smoked UL basketball. All the decorations are put up. Time to return to normal.

Funny. If you were British though, it would be a SHRUBBERY. We build prototypes that cost millions of dollars.
.

We are no longer the Knights who say Ni......

Morning, gents.

A nice brisk -33C/-27F.

The plan for today is see if the car will start, go home, crawl into bed, come out in the spring.

Morning Chaps. Slightly disappointed I was not included in Her Majesty's Honours list for "Promoting Warm Transatlantic Relations through the medium of a Disney Based Chat Board", but there you go. She probably saw my post about the inbred German thing. Hey Ho. Up the revolution.
Mild and temperate here in the mother country.

London Out.

Obviously an oversight.

OK I asked for the guys up north to CLOSE the dang door not open it wider. Single digit temps in Nashville is just wron. Nice comeback by the U.S. yesterday but agree with Darcy about it being a dumb idea to play in those conditions. Hope they both meet again in the Gold medal game. To those heading to DDCC safe travels and have one for me, wish I could be there and for the rest of us try and stay warm.
We'll be spending the evening at a little gathering at one of the better area Pubs...
(and the beer is unlimited and was included with the price of admission)

The only down side being that I have to be up and at work in the morning.
(but they didn't say I couldn't be nursing a wee bit of a hang-over once I get there.)
NYE sounds like a great time but who the heck does not give their employees off on New Years Day!? Sorrry about that Rob.
Finally get to say, I am off work for the rest of the year! Then I go back for two days then off for five days at WDW for the infamous DDCC 6! party:
Safe travels and enjoy boss

Happy Saturday. Going to see The Last Jedi today.

Morning, gents.

One of my job duties at the church is to change the outdoor sign weekly. It is the old school type with metal, rusty letters that have to be changed outdoors on both sides. I suggested a "sign closed for winter, church still open" post for the next 3 months.

Of course she can't 007. That would out your undercover status. Don't worry - you're secret is secure with us. :lmao:

I tried to close the door but it's frozen open.

That game yesterday was ruined by the conditions, too many long stoppages to clean the snow of the ice. Even after it was cleaned it wasn't great. Nice comeback by the US but I still hate having games decided in shoot-outs.

Obviously. She probably forgot while she was working out that her brother is also her uncle, or something.
"Sam Adams"

What a great idea!
::yes::

Cheers mate. Always good to know that my international man of mystery with the disguise of the small family travelling with me is under wraps on here.
