Here's to being a bit closer to quitting time for the week. Today is DW's bday so the girl is now on her way home from school for a few days to help celebrate. Note for you Dads with college in the future: You save a ton on in-state tuition but they do come home a lot more being only a couple of hours away - which is both good and can be challenging. Or do what CJ did - send 'em further away. Enjoy the weekend with the families.

That's three times more exercise than I put in this week.

22 for us... Haven't checked, but the Gators may be starting earlier than Saturday.
in either case, I recommend a tall drink and a nap on the beach as priorities for today

I'll start when it gets a little closer to 4:30.

Florida opens up 7:30 pm 9/1 on the SEC Network. Can you tell I can't wait? Too hot for the beach for me, but later, i will have a cocktail and a nice dinner. Plan is for a pork roast, home made mac and cheese and grilled asparagus.

Farther away has its pluses and minuses. She doesn't bug me as much but I am not going to spend $600 to fly her down for Thanksgiving weekend.

A late Friday check in. I couldn't get the phone to work earlier today to reply. Cut the grass, put in a frozen pizza, drinking a beer, and watching the Falcons and Titans game. Time to see what that #2 QB can do.

My tuition benefit counts only for the main campus, which is 3.5 hours away. Think that is far enough away?

Yea, it is rough out west. A member did a TR of a trip last year and it included a picture of Lake Meade. Could not believe how low the water levels were. Oh, and Happy Saturday!

It is a beautiful Sunday morning here. It was our Parish Feast Day yesterday, and we celebrated with an outdoor inflatable slip n slide, cornhole, and food. My youngest managed a good sunburn since I forgot sunscreen. So, we all just relaxed the rest of the day. Not much on the schedule for today, either.
