No white stuff down here. Warm and muggy but not oppressive. The kid spent yesterday and is spending today at a dive convention/vendor market in Newark. She went last year and got a couple of free dive trips out of it.

We are leaving Saturday for WDW.

Happy travels. Have a blast and don't get sand in your swim trunks.

Welcome Matt, nice looking family. You are going to love Aulani. Fantastic resort that is more Hawaii focused than Disney. Yea you can have a picture with Minnie and Mickey and the characters show up at the pool parties but it is mostly a high end resort. I think your in laws would also enjoy it. Make sure you take the quick welcome tour that gives a brief overview of the resort. Also tell the kids to be on the lookout for the Menehune.

Yeah it's been a while, busy as heck with work and trying to scrape up the funds for this years trip. Stupid Canadian Dollar.

Tennis this AM and cut my hair. I can't start packing because I'm waiting on doing the laundry because DW isn't home because she had a damaged tire and has to get a replacement.

Not the best start this AM, but a lot of daylight left before this trip starts.

I didn't post anything on fb, and would appreciate if nobody does but we got some bad news Friday, my brother was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. The worse part is he has had problems for a few years and he has been on meds. for it. They have been keeping an eye on it and now here we are. Has to go through more test, they are concerned that it may have gotten in the bone or lynphs.
He's a pretty private person and don't want people to know. But I had to vent some where.
So we have a few weeks to go and results of test to come back and there looking at surgery in a few weeks.
He and his wife just retired this past July.
Hopefully they caught it early enough.
Appreciate prayers, out of my four siblings and both parents, I'm the only one left who hasn't had a bought with some form. Kind of makes you look at things a little different.
If you guys could do me a favor and just keep it here for now. I'm sure it will show up on fb when he's ready.

We don't check in until Sunday. We used to leave at 5:00 PM and arrive at WDW at 6:00 AM (time change). Now, we leave around 2:00 AM and get there around 3:09 PM. I'm too old for this drive.

Sunday morning. First day of the work week for me this week.
But... I had three... three glorious days off in a row (although they did try to get me to work midnight last night... which would mean: work from 11pm - 7am this morning then back at work at 3pm... nope!)
Other than when I booked off a few vacation days in February, this is the first time this year I've gotten all my days off, off.

(I can't blame them when they are purchasing airfare and 12 nights lodging for 15 people.) Afternoon Guys,

DS finished club basketball with a 5th place finish at the Provincial U16 championship. They lost 2 close games yesterday to the two teams that played in today's final and won an easy one today. He fouled out of the first game, had a so so 2nd game and a strong 3rd game. The best thing about the game today was the opposing coach is the Provincial team coach and DS will be spending parts of the next three weekends trying out for that team.

It's a cool day in this part of the Great White North but no snow and I did manage to BBQ some bacon-wrapped steaks for dinner. Now time to enjoy the rest of the Jays and Rays on Opening Day!
