Monday and back at work. Why did I come out of retirement again? Anyway, I'm in the ED this week and learning more stuff. So far, I've had stops in Pulmonology, Joint, Ortho, Cardiac Care, Critical Care, & Oncology. My brain has far superseded its capacity, and it now has to lose information. Hopefully, I can remember where I live by the end of the day.

We try and go in the cooler months since the temps are closer to a nice summer day here. I find the May thru September to hot and humid for me,

I don't mind the heat. I'd prefer not to vacation in the summer months as we have hot temp in KY in the summer, along with our mega humidity. The Ohio River Valley could also be referred to as the Ohio River armpit. Still, I'd rather vacation in our cooler months, but couldn't with children in school. Now and sooner, we will have more options.

Yep, they looked good, and encouragingly they looked gutted when they lost against arguably the best team in the world.

Did Man U put a price out for Linguard?

My wife's self-employed, so we pay every year. This year, though, due to COVID, and the cancelling of all of her music gigs, we actually got money back.

Sorry you didn't make it to the finals.

I've been thinking a lot about this over the last year, as this is one of the times of the year I've been looking at heading down. Having said that, I've only been down in the World in August, but thinking is that March is usually spring break time for colleges and public schools, not a hard fast rule, but usually the case. As a result, and I'm guessing here, March will be busy with spring breakers. As I said, that's just a guess, but I think a good one. I would love to hear from other people, though

We made it to the finals, but lost there. A loss is still a loss.

Glad to hear you got some of your tax $ back.

I would love to think I could go to WDW every month, but that would only be if we found a spot on cocoa beach. Or, I win the lotto and buy a place in Celebration or Golden Oak.

Playing drunk and high on tylenol doesn't sound like a great finals strategy....
But well done anyways.

Gotta have a strategy. I did mean following the matches, but your idea sounds better.

Heyyay heyyay heyyay,

Y'all are smarter than the average bear.

Me excluded.

You're in trouble. That's the first to go.

You should write tourism brochures!
Um we really don't care about your performance woes. :duck:
:lmao:

Morning, boys.
After yesterday's -20C/-4F, I awake to -3C/27F this morning. The high for Sunday is 11C/51F... maybe, just maybe, we've seen the last of the cold days? It'd be nice to have spring come around... oh... spring time.

Yesterday evening at work, I was sitting having dinner and I turned my head and a motion behind me caught my eye. A fox had walked up to the windows where I eat and was slowly making his way from point A to B. He was about 5' away. Pretty cool. I don't think he could see inside, because he angled closer to the window and then followed along the building afterwards. When he came close, he got to within a couple feet of another guy, eating.

Wait! I'm not that great on converting Celcius to Farenheit without a calculator, but...

How can -20C be -4F
And -3C be colder (-27F)?

I guess you just forgot to take out the negative sign and it's 27F. Even without a calculator, that makes sense...not too far below freezing(32)

Kinda cool with the fox. Seeing one that close is rare...they're very wary of people.

Looks like you sent it our way. +6C/43F yesterday with wet snow and rain, today -18C/0F (windchill is -29C/-20F) with lots of ice.

Covid sucks!

Whoops!
Yes +27.
I fixed it.

Yes and no.
This was a “traditional” red fox and yes they’re wary. Farther north, the Arctic Foxes are almost tame and you can get within a few inches of them.

Sorry about that. It was supposed to go South. The Yanks love the novelty of cold weather.

Nice! That's a neat sighting.

But what did the fox say?

(sorry)

Actually... there's a hilarious video out there (and I can't find it since I'm at work) where a woman has her phone on the grass and her pet fox grabs it and runs off with it, her chasing it the whole time. You hear the fox pretty clearly since the phone is in its mouth.
Jacha-chacha-chacha-chow!
Chacha-chacha-chacha-chow!
Chacha-chacha-chacha-chow!
What the heck was that?!?!?!
