Things I learnt from Dis Dads Club Thread #2:
Norm joined, and was talking about retiring back then. So nothing changes.
Randall said there was definitely a Santa Claus. And if there is anyone who would know, it's Randall.
Grilling today, Souvlaki over the charcoals.
Have a good day fellas.

I met some of them more then once and there’s quite a few I met with and without pictures. Lol
The boards were a pretty big thing back then, it was easier to know who and when were going to be there.
Yup, Norm, that was the first Disdads convention. Carl has the tee shirt on.
Not really a convention, but we just met at times here and there. This was the first one.
This, is how it all started.

Interested to find out what you think ofr MNSSHP because we'll be doing in a month.
Hey guys, so a quick review of MNSSHP. Overall I enjoyed it. I did find it more crowded than the very first party I did in 2010 but I believe that’s a common complaint these days. It’s fun to see all the costumes people have. My advice is to pick what you want to focus on. There’s too much to do it all. Presumably you would want to see the parade and fireworks, they’re the main show and impressive. But beyond that, do you want trick or treating, rides (with short wait), or meeting characters. Our party came off the rails a bit because we met Moana. I know she’s a rare character now and DDs really wanted to meet her. The attendant said 75 minute wait, which I was prepared to swallow. They lied. 75 minutes in we were only half way through. Should have bailed at that point but had invested the time and kept going. 2 hours and 23 minutes (of a 5 hour party) later we finally met her. Anyway, long story short, I know the rare characters are out and some people enjoy that but for me I would never waste the time again. Stick to the parade, fireworks, rides and food and you’ll enjoy it more I think.Let us know how MNSSHP is as me and DW will be attending our first one of these in a few weeks.
The cheeseburger egg rolls are in Adventureland at the cart next to the popcorn cart by Jungle Cruise. They rotate during the day about every half hour between cheeseburger and veggie ones, so ask to make sure which ones they are selling at that time. They are a little pricey at $7.50 for 2, but they are packed solid with cheeseburger filling![]()

I have met up with Norm and he is just as cuddly in person as he is here. Not sure if ya remember but we did meet Brianna at the popcorn cart by Gaston’s when she was in the college program. Hope we get to meet up and don’t forget a picture. There's more, I won't bore ya with the past.ive met up with a lot more, just kinda got out of the habit of taking pictures. Lol
Norm! I've never met Norm yet. One day!

Never a doubt
Thanks for posting this. You helped confirm my game plan of skipping the character waits even though the Seven Dwarfs all together and some of the villains were an initial thought.
