I still laugh at that to, and was trying to say that we all remember and never forget such a classic moment in DDC history.
I feel rotten about having you think I was talking down to you.
Not at all what I intended.

Things I learnt from Dis Dads Club #1 thread:

1. @dvczerfs really isn't impressed with Discovery card's Customer Service. And got sunburn on his head demolishing a pool and deck.
2. @DisneyFed has a dream to hold a "10 pounder" up at the Castle. I think the least said about that the better.
3. Don dropped the bombshell that Disney was about to swap out dispensers to serve both sweet and unsweetened Ice Tea. And got a ton of golf stuff.


Man, this is more informative than college.

Happy Friday. Glad the day is done. DW said she wants to go and visit the Bahamas. I said that we should just move to the US Virgin Islands and live there. She said she would need to stay there first to see if she liked it. Challenge accepted.

Hello Dads, I hope you’re all doing well, though I haven’t gone back to read the posts I’ve missed the past week. Storming the castle has been taking up most of my time. But that’s a good complaint to have!
It’s been a good trip so far, the weather has mostly cooperated with only two rainy afternoons, but that’s Florida in summer. The heat has been knocking us out pretty good though and we’ve taken breaks back to the resort most afternoons. Speaking of the resort, I’m happy with ASMu overall. I do miss the double sinks from the moderates and the food court options are more limited.
Off to Mickey’s Halloween party tonight! Here’s a couple pictures for you - I may end up doing a trip report eventually.

Thanks Norm. Pizza...there are several keto pizza dough options (some really good, some so so). The beer...not a concern for me...can't help ya there. I do know that after the first week or two, the cravings for the carbs aren't there ALMOST entirely (every once in a while I'll smell something and there will be a craving). I honestly can say I can eat this way the rest of my life. The food is GOOD and while there are some things I miss, the things I get to eat more that make up for it. If you've ever had steak with garlic butter on it, you can understand why I'm a happy camper. Did I mention I can eat as much bacon as I want?

I can't do KETO. I tried the Adkins diet and lost a bunch of weight, but was sick of eating all that meat and gained it back. I do better on a whole food, fruits and vegetable diet with little to no meat, following the science from the China Study. They frown on pizza and beer though as well.

Morning from Texas dads. Had birthday dinner with my girls last night now I remember why we don't go out. $200 at our local Japanese steak house. But it was a good time, and I barely get to see them anymore with me working 3 jobs so it was worth it.

I admire all that work. I'm still at my two job gig, but would like to win the lottery and have a no job gig.

Happy Thursday. Weight training for basketball got pushed up to today. It's already been a long morning.



Does goodintighten means itsnotaleaking in German? I've been able to escape major remodels thus far, but our house is only 18 years old now. It will eventually get here as well.

Believe me Norm when I tell you if I did the work it would not be itsnotaleaking I would say I installed fire sprinklers
