Morning all. With election day upon us, it is time to remember to vote for a person who intends to do nothing except make themselves money by increasing taxes on me to pay off their designated special interst group. And, since I get paid hour of leave to go vote, I will participate as well.

This site showed up in this page's ad feed.

I think we could have lots of fun with this. I'd love this shirt
]

I remember camping out overnight and waiting in line to buy concert tickets for bands like Aerosmith, ZZ top, etc ON THE FLOOR for $20. Now, it's $100 for nose bleed rafter tickets for some lip syncer. Back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. :lmao:

Come on Barry your not supposed to let everyone know why we get haircuts at WDW all the time:scared1: Now we will never get in:lmao:

Back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, I used to have my haircut by this girl with big :goodvibes:goodvibes who would lean against me. Do they have a store like that at WDW?

Morning guys

Morning nemesis. Great game from Luck last night.

-Crazy morning already. Long lines at the polls(good to see). Had every intention of eating a healthy breakfast, but nope. Arrived at work to the news that one of my best friends here in the office was let go. And it's not even 10:00 yet.

-Kids are at their grandparents, so gave me a chance to do some heavier planning for next week's trip. Anyone have any planning sheets you'd care to share, ones that include FP's, ADR's, etc.? I could put it all on my phone, but I'm trying to as phone-free as possible next week, so paper would be better.

-It doesn't get real until you pack your bags, and we packed last night.

-Just can't get into the NFL any longer. Had a fantasy team up until this year. I just prefer college sports(football and basketball). I can sit on the couch and watch CFB from noon until 2:00 a.m. any Saturday in the fall. But put on an NFL game and I'm asleep/disinterested within about 10 minutes(with the exception of the playoffs).

Sorry to hear about your friend. I just use my phone now and it keeps track of my FP, ADRs, pictures, and posting during trips. I'm way too dependent on my phone and just need to Let it Go.

He has really hit a new level this year!

You really do need to do it. My two sons and I have done it on our last few trips. They give the kids little spinner toys to keep them entertained and stickers at the end.

:thumbsup2 :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Not only am I happy to send you a list of my favorite KY bourbons, I'm happy to drink all the bourbon you buy. :lmao:

I will send you a list of my favorites, for whatever it's worth. Off the top of my head, Basil Hayden and Four Roses are winners. Pats looked good yesterday.

Thanks and you are welcome anytime. I'll even have lobster rolls waiting. :stir:

Good afternoon gentlemen,

I was hoping to post more after the kids' birthday but I came down with a nasty head cold I had to muscle through the weekend. Friday we went to the Halloween parade and party. We counted 26 Elsa's at the school but only 5 came to our door that night. Also, the school sent home bags for kids to put left over candy in a bag for troops overseas. They kept their favorites and put the rest in a bag. I guess we're doing something right.

We also sat the kids down and told them its going to be a quiet Christmas this year since they don't need much and they have Grandmas and Santa to spoil them. So, we've cast the die and told them the Disneyland trip is definitely happening next year.

Sounds like a lot of those "light year" conversations are going on. The new basement, two DW trips we had this year and having to pay to play sports for DS has taken a pretty big bite out of the savings.

We had 6 Elsa's, 4 Anna's, 1 Sven and 3 Olaf's. DD was one of the Elsa's and we had a friend over and the whole family was Frozen characters for Halloween.

Still need to get to DisneyLand before they put me in the ground. Doesn't look like it for a while. Have fun planning.

No snow here yet. And I'm further North than you guys. But when ours comes, it stays until late March or April.

Ours is usually around until March once we get into December/January. We have typically had one snow event around Halloween the last few years. This one was pretty mild, but I heard Bangor, Maine had a foot of snow breaking the old record of .5". Stay warm!

Our meet was trip number 2 of the 5. Technically they don't expire until 12/15 so I could get in the parks for 6 more weeks but it doesn't appear to be in the cards. Daughter and I ended my year on a great note with some magic from the talking Mickey at Town Square just before leaving. One last look at the castle with my first born and some sniffles on the way to the bus. If the year of Chris had to come to an end, that was the way to do it.

Sounds like a good way to end it. :thumbsup2 The Year of Chris sounds like a good book title. We'll be looking forward to the paperback edition.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

This is two days in a row where the Internet has worked in the morning. I'm on a roll.

:wave2: Guys... we got back from our cruise on Oasis of the Seas yesterday, been very hectic trying to get back in the swing of things.

Will post some pics when I get them off my camera. We were docked next to the Disney Dream in Nassau... :cool2:

What did I miss while I was gone?

Wait.....You were gone.:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao: Welcome back, looking forward to the picks.

Morning guys

Good Morning Sir! Is there excitement about that first Christmas now that they have started with the TV commercials and advertising?

Luck looked good. Pats and Colts on a bye this week, we'll be depressed together. Maybe a little wager is in order for the after bye week match up?

Hold on...There's someone I can vote for that doesn't meet that description? I guess it's better to get an hour off to vote than not. I thought every hour for you was a paid hour of leave?:lmao::lmao:

A store like that would be REALLY busy and expensive!:rolleyes1

Do you have a Sports Clips franchise near by? Women hair stylists, shampoo and scalp massage, and warm towel.

They're still getting tablets from Santa. But they've got bikes, sports equipment, and a netflix account. Peanut has half of the current American Girl catalog and Stretch has half the Lego Star Wars catalog. There is not much they need and they have grand parents that love to spoil them.

You guys get more snow but we get deep freezes that can make it look like Hoth.

First basketball game of the season is over. Our team got blown out. We were down by 10 at one point, and I'm not sure of the final score. However, younger dd played really well. For one of the younger players on the court, she led our team in points, blocks, and steals. And, she defended the other team's 2 best players. Unfortunately, it looks like our team was given the left over players. We had two added on the week before the game started, and they were out other two better players. The rest of the team looked clueless. I might try a four corners offense. :lmao:

Thanks and you are welcome anytime. I'll even have lobster rolls waiting. :stir:

Be careful what you post. As much as I enjoy lobster, I might live in the camper in your front yard. At least for the warm months of the year.

You could always write in my name. I wrote in Rick Grimes for several of our unopposed local election offices.

.

That's why those franchises are so successful. We don't have one near here. I cut my own hair with the clippers and #1 guard. It can't make me look uglier than I already am. Plus, it hides the gray hair. :thumbsup2

The other day I had a Golden Eagle on my roof, as I was walking to the front door it flew away, it was huge what a awesome sight to see it flying a few feet away:worship:, then I was wondering what it was doing there:scratching, the next day I found the remains of a adult rabbit (well at least the back part:crazy2:) mystery solved:magnify:

This is the 1st time I ever saw a Golden Eagle in the wild and I must say it is a spectacular sight:thumbsup2, a couple of months ago we had rabbits all over the place (seemed like every time time I walked my dog we were in chase:hyper:) I was just saying to my wife last week that I haven't seen too many rabbits lately, now I know why::yes::

Tough game. I think all you can do is stress fundamentals, let the kids see themselves improve.

Cool story bro. I love birds of prey. Up here we have a lot of Red Tails. Over the last decade the Bald Eagles have been making a big come back. They mostly stay along the river and are further north. When we had a zoo membership, we had to go to the bird show. One time the red tail clipped my hat. Another time when the show was indoors They had a massive eagle owl. The trainer got the whole auditorium to quiet down and had the fly around. It was so close to us you could feel the air move but you could not hear it. Truly amazing creatures.

Seems that every time the rabbit population around here gets big enough to see them on a regular basis something moves in and balances the food chain within a year or two. This time around we've had hawks and coyotes.

Soooo... there are folks out there that have to be told? :sad2:

Never seen a Golden Eagle before, but that would be cool. I have always enjoyed nature and the outdoors. I wish I had found that person who said follow your dreams instead of take a secure, soul-sucking government office job.

Tough game. I think all you can do is stress fundamentals, let the kids see themselves improve.

Thanks. That's all I plan to do. This is our first time in this league, and I was hoping the administrative team stacking wouldn't occur. But, I live in a town with people training their Sunday Bible thumping hands to be their knife clubbing hands the rest of the week.

Fewer cats too I'll bet.
