Good Morning Dads! Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Since the Disney trip a couple of weeks ago, the crap has hit the fan...

Let me understand this... You are busy at work (so OK, I can give you that one) but you may get a big enough bonus to join the cool kids at DVC? You are running around because the kids are successful in sports? And you can't get the cable to work in your new man cave? I'm thinking fist world problems here.

Hope the work calms down, the kids continue to have success in their sport's efforts and you get the cable to work.

Me you ask? The Brit is flying in right now as we speak (or rather as I write.) The mutts will be dropped off in a bit and I head to the Keys tomorrow morning. Diving is going to be iffy because of this tropical thing sitting out in the Gulf but, I am not complaining. Will post a few pics if I get anything interesting.

Good Morning Dads! Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Since the Disney trip a couple of weeks ago, the crap has hit the fan. This has left little time at home to hit the boards. Still having internet problems at the office with regards to my MacBook. Apparently we changed the firewall and it doesn't like the Mac products. They have been trying to figure it out for a while and still no progress.

Last thing to get done is the cable on the Tv's in the basement. Comcast keeps telling me the new boxes are working and I keep explaining they are not. Apparently they can see through the phone better than I can in front of the TV.

Field hockey and fall AAU hoops ending, try outs for town travel hoops are in progress, and no rest for the weary. DS room is going to be painted ND Gold with some blue accents. Found out today that we are having a Halloween party if anyone wants to come. Looks like I'll be up until 3 in the morning decorating and preparing for the next two weeks. Oh, and don't forget that model of Jamaica that DD and I have to create over the next two weeks for her school project.

That's a lot to come back to. Wouldn't of just been easier staying in WDW?

One positive is that we are so busy here at work, we will exceed our annual target at about 8 months. That will mean record profits that I may partake of. If such events take place, it looks like I have a green light to go DVC. You know what they say, once you go.......Ooops, wrong phrase.

Kid looks a tad small to be trying that hill out.

I lived on a hill growing up and we used to ride skateboards down it all the time. We only got hurt a few times. One time I ripped my entire fingernail right off. That was pretty nasty.

Not complaining about going to the Keys just hope I will be able to dive. Going to get more than a little choppy out there. Too smart to try to get back on a boat in 4-6 foot seas anymore. Plus the Brit hasn't dove in a while and he was looking forward to it. Trust me, I will be able to find entertainment even if I can't dive.

I feel you pain Tim, really, I do. It is getting to the point it is too cold to go swimming down here.

Morning nemesis. How's basketball?

I was back as coach on Saturday and the girls did great. We won 26-10 They lost the game before 32-6, so it was a must needed boost.

I am retiring as the all time winingest coach in CYO history with a perfect win percentage of 1.000 (2-0).

In all seriousness, one of the parents said "you are a defensive guru". Um, they are 9, I told them they would run suicides if they let their assignment run by them.

Stayed up Saturday to see ND lose. It was a good call, I don't think Corey Robinson needed the help.

Another win in fantasy football

I decided to look at the ride closures for the Star Wars 1/2 trip coming up, I was surprised, I know it's slow season but wow. Matterhorn Bobsleds, Soarin, Peter Pans Flight, Winnie the Pooh, world of color, Haunted Mansion and Luigis flying tires (going away for good) all during SW 1/2 weekend. I'm hoping Haunted Mansion gets reopened quickly from the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. All in all it's going to be a fun trip either way!

Thanks guys. Their birthday isn't until next Monday but the party is Saturday. The global warming is actually keeping it warm enough that we're thinking of renting a bounce house.

Congrats. I got suckered into coaching younger dd's basketball team. It kinda stinks as older dd tried out for middle school basketball and didn't make the team.

That is really cool. I know the Rewards card thing is working good now, but if you can do a DVC purchase, then depending on the resort, you have 40 more years of vacations for as long as you make the dues payments.

Yeah, I actually have to work this week which cuts into post time. Four 10 hour days. Good thing I have another three day weekend. I just need a side job, like selling crack or something, so I can have enough $ to enjoy all this time off.

Last week of soccer for my girls. I get to play assistant coach this week for my 10yo. I'm looking forward to it. My buddy and I are coaching b\c are head coach is out of town. My buddy and I have very different coaching philosophies than the head coach. Should be interesting to see how the girls respond.

yes, it should be interesting here as well. I'm not sure of what to think about the other coach. This is supposed to be a developmental league, and my younger dd is super aggressive. I try to reign her in. However, the other coach wants to have all the girls playing harder. We shall see.....
