He didn't start until December in his first year in Denver and and until week 6 in his second year. There was plenty of hype in both New York and in New England when he signed there.

I am having trouble sleeping, I leave for the Universal trip in less then 36 hrs so that's prob some of the issue. Everything's all set for the ToT 10 miler trip and starting to fine tune, hotel and ticket options for the DL Star Wars 1/2 trip. I will be taking a trip break after this lol. A friend wants to take a London 2016 trip so that may be the next trip after all this.

Any of the other dads running the ToT 10 miler, send me a message, I know we are doing a few meet ups throughout the 4th, but wouldn't mind doing a meetup at the race as well. I will be in corral G

London is a good trip. Haven't been since college, but the history and architect are worth the trip. Lot's of good things to see. If you end up going at the right time, watch the changing of the guard.

Well, he had to do something to get rid of that beehive. What could go wrong?

We have a chandelier in our foyer 25 feet up. DW wants to replace it. I told her to hire someone or get the electrician currently working on the basement as there was no way I was getting on a 20 foot ladder to change it.

Sorry I didn't get more. They are the company seats. They are 11 rows up from the field on the 50 yard line. It's one of the few perks, but one I really enjoy.

I did see Foles getting onto McCoy for taunting the fans last night.

Gloomy day down here. And it’s dark and overcast outside as well. Given a choice I’d climb back into bed and sleep through it. Can’t justify that though, so maybe I’ll just sleep at my desk instead.

Good sentiment, but just don’t let your girl wear one of those tank-tops. The guys would be so busy staring at the letters that they’d never bother attempting to actually read them.

Not sure to be thankful or not. DW tells me that oldest dd (12) complains to her that she is not as developed there as the other girls in her class. I guess that's good she is not getting that attention, but bad that DW wants to talk to me about that stuff.

Afternoon gentlemen

Just popping in as I take a break from my autumn chores. It was 39 when I dropped the kids off at the bus. Time to make sure we can get both cars in a three car garage again.

I thought it went pretty well. You have Peterson back now so things will get better. Of course that is until he beats the next kid and goes to prison. Good thing he didn't grab his crotch, that warrants a 7 game suspension.

I'm really torn on this one. The football fan in me wants him gone but as I Vikings fan having him in the line up gives us a great shot in a conference that is Seattle and everyone else. I pulled my Moss jersey out of the back of the closet and Adrian's jersey will be there until there's a jersey exchange.

Before my wife and her sister sold their parents' house, I had the pleasure of changing out a chandelier in the hallway on the second floor, since they wanted to give it to a cousin who liked this fixture. This house is old enough (about a century), to have 10-foot ceilings. Said light fixture was adjacent to the staircase. You can imagine the scenarios playing through my head regarding the Clouseau-esque path I would be taking as my body's gravitational potential energy gradually returned to zero...
Part-way through the process, a pretty green flash and wash of heat uncomfortably close to my face and beard informed me that the breaker we had determined to be the proper one to de-energize the fixture was in fact, NOT. (WE includes my wife's Electrical Engineer uncle, who, as mind-bogglingly geekily spectacular as his professional achievements are, is still much more knowlegeable with millivolts that kilowatts; something he readily admits, and she fails to comprehend.) After several trips up and down the ladder and stairs to the outside breaker panel, throwing breakers and checking voltages, I finally decided I'd had enough tofu, and tripped the big breaker on the top. Thankfully, this was happening during daytime, and the abundance of windows in the pre-electric house afforded enough ambient light for me to finish the replacement without further incident.
And to be honest with y'all, I don't even know if the cousin to whom the chandelier was given really liked it enough to put it up in her house...
I'd been successfully suppressing that memory.. Thanks, mm1971 for bringing it all rushing back

On a different note.... I'M BACK!!!!!!
No, I didn't go to Disney, at least, not since March, and please don't mention that trip.... but for some reason, the IT gurus have restored my connection to the DIS on the network. Not sure how many months I've been locked out, but it's good to be back. Hmmm.. it's got to be since June or so, since I remember reading the first few installments of MickeyToonTown's latest trip report.
However, they still block the DisDads dot com domain as a shopping site... go figure. Time to catch up...
