See that Goodell cancelled his visit to 49ers new stadium. I hate all this cover up stuff. Obviously, I'm not for domestic violence, but some players are inactivated, some released, and some are playing even after not being charged vs convicted. Most of these charges sound like they get up to a year in jail, and even then, most guys rarely serve any of that time. This is really inconsistent or at worse, completely hypocritical. The biggest crime is that Goodell makes $30 million a year and I don't.

Sadly this was my family, no in laws involved.

I already have a 2 hour buffer with my family, so I don't think about that much.

To top it all off, I bought him a beer during the intermission but he said I would have to drink it or he would be heading to the washroom during the second act. The sacrifices we make for our family. !

They should have lost. It was an interesting game and either KY is a lot better than last year or Florida is pretty bad. I tend to expect it is the former. Florida had many mistakes that could have cost them but they did win. It could have been worse, just ask GA, USC, VaTec...

Not surer what to make of this college football season. The four team playoff is sure to clear it all up. I was hoping for an 8 team playoff.

I'm pretty sue I have the KOD when it comes to drafting....Manning three years ago and now AP. Shoot me now, lol

I'll trade you Gerhart for Peterson. Gerhart was my 2nd RB taken and has managed less than 10 fantasy points combined for two weeks.

Watching Miss America, they showed them at WDW, this was during our last trip we meet Miss PR and Miss NJ and wished them luck, din't really think much of it at the time but now it brings back trip memories :good vibes, too bad they were not being filmed at the time that would have really been cool if we were on tv, but it just goes to show you really never know what's going to be going on around WDW, Always keep aware of your surroundings or you could miss something

I think we might be seeing the beginning of the end of the NFL. A lot of inexcusable actions happening all at once.

A good weekend for us. Got to spend time with the boy up at school (my but is acting more and more all growed up).

Saw a couple of excellent performances and Western even managed to pull off a victory. It was a sloppy game to be sure, but a win none the less so they’re now sporting a 2-1 record. That ties the total amount of wins during all of last year (and improves their ranking in the FCS all the way up to a lofty 75th ).

Heck even the Panthers have now won two in a row so something’s really odd ‘round here.
Now we’re all just waiting for everything to fall apart and get back to normal.


But until reality settles back it…

Morning all. Back from orthodontist and oldest dd will be getting braces next month or so. Now, I have to convince DW that money still doesn't grow on trees or the money fairy won't bring extra cash to the house. The only other items in the household budget to consider are retirement savings or WDW vacations.

I don't think it is that bad. The NFL survived the concussion thing, even after the home grown quack doctor cover up was exposed.

Sounds like a good weekend for most of our teams including the Irish & the Bears who saved their season with that comeback last night. Too bad the Titans cam back to reality after the week 1 upset of KC. Hitting the road on business tomorrow with what I like to call a stupid o'clock flight our to the west coast.

Both DDs had soccer games today. Youngest has 2 goals and won 6-2. My oldest had the 2nd goal of the game en route to a 7-0 victory. The first game was pretty soggy but the rain passed and we got through it.

Morning all. According to TWC App, it is 48 degrees here this AM, but should hit 70 by 2:00 PM. Fall weather in KY is here. Youngest dd has struggled with select soccer, not quite adjusting to the speed of the game and quality of opponents. We enjoyed some stuffed crust pizza and beer last night.

It takes time to adjust to a new level, new players, etc. Tell her to hang in there.

He didn't start until December in his first year in Denver and and until week 6 in his second year. There was plenty of hype in both New York and in New England when he signed there.
