Hope everyone has a great weekend. Ain't got time to ............. these days. Home for the weekend including going to the Titans game with DW and friends but then back on business travel next week. Buzzed through here so welcome to the new guy, happy belated birthday gents, amen fall weather is creeping in, I like Frozen but hope it does not take over the world (maelstrom, Holiday Castle light ceremony, etc). Again enjoy the weekend with the families and kids events and hopefully I can stay current for a couple of days here - sorry guys, will try harder.

I'll be at the Titans game also, don't feel bad I haven't been able to keep current for awhile lol.

I hope everyone's doing well, after today I have 4 days till the dark side trip and 18 till the ToT 10 miler trip, I forgot who all the DisDads running also are, feel free to send me a message, I know I'm meeting up with Norm and Steve at some point.

DW and I had a great time at the Blues Traveler show at the Harvest Jazz and Blues festival last night. Back again tonight but with DS in tow at in a sit down venue with less alcohol.

Good morning guys. Enjoy the weekend. Cool and damp here as well. Hoping it will dry out at least. We are expecting ~2000 people to come through here the week of the 22nd so lots to do in preparation. Not a chance of getting most of it done so no point in stressing about it. Afternoon, men. Just checking back in before going back through yesterday's posts.

It's been cool and damp in the Burgh.

Last night we celebrated my DD Ashley's Bday. She turned 10 and is now officially a Disney Adult. The chaotic 20 girl sleepover was last week, so this one was a laid back dinner with our friends at the Cheesecake Facotry.

Both DDs had soccer games today. Youngest has 2 goals and won 6-2. My oldest had the 2nd goal of the game en route to a 7-0 victory. The first game was pretty soggy but the rain passed and we got through it.

The sun is out and a bit cooler but beautiful day now. I'm going to help a friend close his pool for the season and the hopefully go to our local community days festival and get some deep fired something with a side of deep fried fat.

Peanut butter Beverly. Booked one of my entitled Saturdays off to go with family to a fall fair they went on about, cool. However with the cool and rain this morning they hemmed and hawed about till around 2 when they decided to postpone till tomorrow. Nice to leave me hanging like that. We have other commitments though and by the time we are done them, we would have to drive an hour to get maybe two hours out if it, then an hour to drive home. So I declined to go, now apparently I'm the bad guy, despite having wasted half my day off waiting for them to make up their minds. Aurgh.

Morning all. According to TWC App, it is 48 degrees here this AM, but should hit 70 by 2:00 PM. Fall weather in KY is here. Youngest dd has struggled with select soccer, not quite adjusting to the speed of the game and quality of opponents. We enjoyed some stuffed crust pizza and beer last night.

Morning Guys,

Another cool but sunny morning here in the north-east. Not seeing that abnormally warm September that was forecast.

Had a great time with the family last night taking in another show at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival. Declan's first experience with the festival besides the kid shows he went to when he was 6 or 7. Even the FIL enjoyed the show but I was worried when the first act started. It was a jazz trio and he sat like a stone for the first song. When the bass and drummer started to get in to it, I noticed a small head bob and soon turned in to a clap and a foot tap.

To top it all off, I bought him a beer during the intermission but he said I would have to drink it or he would be heading to the washroom during the second act. The sacrifices we make for our family.

After a long night of some exciting football and not to much sleep, I may decide just to go out to for a late lunch. Hopefully the Fish will go 2-0 today. You got to love football season.

By the looks of the final score, it went downhill from there. FIU is really bad and a loss to them would not bode well for the other team. Congrats to DD on her birthday and I hope she had a good one.

They should have lost. It was an interesting game and either KY is a lot better than last year or Florida is pretty bad. I tend to expect it is the former. Florida had many mistakes that could have cost them but they did win. It could have been worse, just ask GA, USC, VaTec...
