I'm sure you did. First team to 9-7 wins the AFC East, are you in?

Last night was absolutely horrible.:headache::mad::mad: I'm still trying to figure out how you keep Amendola on the field and then healthy scratch Dobson and Thompkins.:confused3 They traded away one of their top D linemen, the top O lineman and now everyone can't understand why they can't stop the run on D and Brady is a punching bag on offense. Go figure. I just don't understand what they are doing in upper management. Brady should usher in the Garapolo era and go somewhere where they will give him a line and some good players to throw to (not including Edelmann, that dude is awesome!). OK, off the soapbox. Just a little Pi$$ed I stayed up last night to watch that train wreck.

I think you are right; a few years of poor management decisions are starting to catch up to them.

Gentlemen,
I present for your consideration…

Since we're on the topic of surprise Disney trips (thanks Jim - and good luck with your surprise), here's what we have going on.

October 16th - we fly to Puerto Rico. The kids know this part. The afternoon of the 16th and all day on the 17th, we plan to explore the island - beaches, rain forest, etc.

On the 18th, we get on the Disney Magic for a 3 night repositioning cruise from San Juan, PR to Port Canaveral FL. The kids DON'T know this. They think we're spending all of our vacation in Puerto Rico. The best we've come up with so far is for me to get a call in front of them, have a fictitious conversation within earshot of them about having to cut our time on the island short and having to leave. We pack everything up, head to the port and - voila - there's the ship.

Surprise #2 is having my wife's parents meeting us at the port to whisk us away to Bay Lake Tower for 4 nights.

Surprise #3 is having tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party that evening.

Surprise #4 is on our 3rd day at WDW, meeting some family friends in line at DHS so they kids can all do Jedi Training Academy together. (There son and my son are good friends, and their daughter and my daughter are good friends.)

We're going to try to record the reaction to all of the reveals.

I'm not quite satisfied with our plan for the reveal of the cruise - I just think we can come up with something a little bigger and grander. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
Just stop it. You're making the rest of us look bad.
You're probably the same husband that buys flowers for no reason and buys the perfect birthday\Christmas\Valentine's Day\Anniversary gifts.

Good morning gentlemen,

I'm a week behind as usual. I'll try and catch up.

Update on the teacher issue. I emailed the teacher and got a quick response. It seems like she forgot because she had a meeting right after school. She also says Peanut didn't give her much of a warning. I'm going to let it go for now but I'm keeping an eye on this.

So it was your fault Brady played that way?:confused3 Glad he was able to put up monster numbers to help you out.:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:
LOL. Actually, my opponent had him. 33 points would have beaen me. Suffice to say, I got the W.

I am crazy busy as well trying to get everything into the next couple of days before we leave. Nice job on the shirts. We did candy corn colored ones a few years ago when we went. They came out awesome. Good luck getting the rest of the trip ready.
I've made shirts the past 5 trips. This time I am making them for 8 adults and 5 kids.

I also bought a yellow Steelers shirt and I will put an iron on (Mickey head with the Steelers logo inside) on the back of the shirt.

And I made for the first time, "cast member appreciation" cards. They have a Mickey silhouette, with a thank you phrase and the link to my Trip report. I just have to buy the business cards or stock paper and print them.

Back from tennis tonight. I am hurting. 2.5 höurs may have overdone it. I did get asked to play in an indoor league for this winter, which means no one else was available or I play better than the dead guy. :lmao:
Two and a half hours would be hard on the knees. Joining an indoor league could jeopardize your standing in Team Sparrow.

Adds a whole new dimension to the sport, now don’t it?
I know a few old school Athletic Directors who would love to post this.

Need to wash it down with this.

Melody just brought this up again yesterday… have you two been talking? :confused3

Did she "bring it up" or did she "chase you around with a scissors"?

Tim, you were the one talking about it 2 years ago. Barry, I imagine if another surprise comes along she will do more than chase him around with scissors.

Good morning! I see that I beat my nemesis in Fantasy Football, so what a glorious way to start the day!!

Morning Duck, or should I say good afternoon.

Good Morning All. DD was not feeling well this morning so I had to convince her to take some medicine and tough it out at school today. Since she is missing 3 days next week, wanted to try to not miss now. Told her to call at lunch time if still not well and we'll go get her.

I'm sure you did. First team to 9-7 wins the AFC East, are you in?

Hope she feels better soon.

Feel a bit more confident since they got rid of Ireland as GM. Lots of wasted draft picks including his last draft when the moved up to the 3rd pick for Jordan. Did nothing in 2013 and was suspended 5 games this year for PEDs and then violating the drug policy. Not sure they will get to 9 wins but the East looks really bad right now so who knows. Both Tannehil and Philbin could be gone after this year. Hearing Harbaugh is not happy in SF.

Hey Norm, Happy Birthday. A day older and a day wiser or just a day older?

Happy Birthday Norm! I'll give you your birthday handshake Saturday morning at Cape May, also let me know if there's any DTD meet ups on Saturday

Its effect on you internal organs might ultimately be bad, but it’s best not to worry about such trivial details.
.

But, it tastes so good.

So it was your fault Brady played that way?:confused3 Glad he was able to put up monster numbers to help you out.:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

I guess genius Bellicheck is coaching like his not so genius Cleveland days. :lmao:

You're probably the same husband that buys flowers for no reason and buys the perfect birthday\Christmas\Valentine's Day\Anniversary gifts.

There is always a reason to bring home flowers. The reason is what happens after the giving of the flowers.

Two and a half hours would be hard on the knees. Joining an indoor league could jeopardize your standing in Team Sparrow.

I promise to drink extra beer and eat at more buffets. Will that work?

Hey Norm, Happy Birthday. A day older and a day wiser or just a day older?

A day older. I left wiser many years ago.

Happy Birthday Norm! I'll give you your birthday handshake Saturday morning at Cape May, also let me know if there's any DTD meet ups on Saturday

Thanks. Sounds good. We hadn't planned anything at DTD with the construction, but I am willing to alter those plans.

Good morning! I see that I beat my nemesis in Fantasy Football, so what a glorious way to start the day!!

You stink. I lost great efforts from my former UL/UK players Bridgewater/ Cobb.

G;ad to see you sticking with it. A friend of ours is a Beachbody master trainer and the DW and I joined one of her challenges. I've been doing T25 workouts which are pretty effective. But I decided to run last night for the first time since my knee surgery. I am def sore today. I fell asleep on the couch last night with the ice pack on my knee.
.

I did my 30 minutes of icing - foot, knees, wrist. Still feeling today.

?

This is the super select soccer league.

I guess we'll find out when they play doubles "Weekend At Bernie's" style.

Glad to see Barry has all that confidence in me. :lmao:

My birthday cake today.

My birthday cake today.

Happy Birthday Norm!

I completely forgot to check for birthdays this week, so it must be divine providence that I inadvertently posted a proper DisDad style cake for your BD.

Enjoy the day and the upcoming trip to the D’World.

Norm, you don't have to alter any plans. Saturday will be alittle hectic, 5k before breakfast, Cape May, then as of right now I think we are just planning on DD swimming at SSR and prob a trip to DTD for shopping. Before rest and ToT 10 miler. It'll figure itself out lol

How are you doing after the accident?

Better than yesterday, not as good as tomorrow!

Accident? Did I miss something Randall? Are you OK?
This should explain it…..

In the 70s, there lived a Dutch metallurgical heathenish,
by the name of Johann Van Der Smut.
He loved gold so much he even lost his genitaliens in an unfortunate smelting accident.
Hence the name…Goldmember.

Hope you are feeling better Goldmember…errrr I mean Santa. :santa:

(no seriously what happened?)

Long day. But, I'm in the office the rest of the week. In other words, I'll be leaving everyday at noon to finish watching Walking Dead Season 4.

At our house the cat eats them, so no flowers come home.

Bummer.

Happy Birthday Norm!

Thanks for the birthday wishes and birthday cake. You can fully take credit for that.

My plans are to sleep by the pool and rest up for dinner at Captain's Grill. Let me know about DTD, or maybe you can stop by for the entertainers on the Boardwalk in the evening.

She says, "Thanks!" and then goes back to whatever it was she was doing.:thumbsup2

Happy birthday Norm!

Thanks. Apparently, I bring flowers home so rarely that the pixiedust: is still there.

Better than yesterday, not as good as tomorrow!

Continued prayers for a speedy recovery.

Accident? Did I miss something Randall? Are you OK?

He posted the other pics on the other site. Someone was trying to use their car to knock the Ravens decal off his back windshield.

That sounds cool, def will be going to DTD at some point Saturday, never been to boardwalk so that sounds like fun.

On a funny Disney note. DD this year has a new friend and her mom sent a note today with her number in case Hailee wanted to come over for a play date one day. I text her mom that Hailee would love to, she text back that they can't this weekend because they are going to Disney Thursday. What a funny coincidence so are we lol. I love Disney

Last Wednesday when I was driving home the guy behind me wanted to be in the same spot I was in. It did not work out well for my car and me.

Car was totaled and I got a sore neck shoulder and back. Neck and shoulder are good now, just need to get the back straighten out. I did get a new Toyota Rav 4 though, so I have that going for me.
