Hey Dads,

I hope all are doing well. Prayers and Bacon all around.

Update on the house front: we narrowed it down to the house and low-balled the sellers a bit, got them to come down enough and we all came to an agreement. So, if all goes well with the financing and the house inspection, we will be homeowners by mid September.

Work continues to go well. I am off to Kansas City tomorrow for two nights to knock some heads together. Mmmmm....BBQ! Getting me some burnt ends I hope.

Are we there yet?

Happy Tuesday guys. We received the kids citizenship certificates yesterday! Now we can get them SS#'s. We celebrated with red, white and blue Popsicles!

Made it through a full day at DHS yesterday with DD and wheelchair without issue. Great day and the Frozen sing along show - real good especially since temporary, and fireworks really rocked.

From today, hope this puts a smiles on your faces as we took today as a resort / pool day.

Great to hear that the chair is working out. We went with a friend a few years ago that had some major knee problems. She rented a wheelchair for Animal Kingdom because of the uneven pavement. Pushing a chair over said uneven pavement wasn't the easiest, but manageable. Have fun, and enjoy Stella.

Sooo...apparently we just need to pick a philanthropy of our choice and then we can have The Annual DISDad 5K Drunken Stumble to support <insert charity here>

It should probably be a liver-related charity.

The cottage we rented was, less say, rustic at best but we enjoyed it and we took DS to his first drive-in movie last night.

How awkward was it that you and declansmom were in the back seat of the car at the drive in?

My cousin got back into Austin, TX Sunday at midnight and said it was still almost 90°. No thanks.
