Yet we seem to be overrun with Illinois license plates every weekend from Memorial Day to Thanksgiving. Sometimes it is hard being this awesome, but we manage to get by....

Got follow-up with Doc this afternoon for post op follow-up and planning to have the left kidney stones blasted at some point in the future We have a good weekend set-up with me & DS having a guys night tonight with dinner and catching the Captain America Movie, then my Hawks are in town tomorrow night and we are obviously going to that and then mix up some honey do list stuff plus DD will be back home for a couple of days...

Morning guys! I needed a break from the craziness of work so I took the day off to spend with the family. I need a Disney fix so we are headed into the city to see the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archive at the museum today. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

I bet I can out walk him though. I am pretty fast at the old speed walking. Up to 2.5 miles 3-4 days a week. I guess the balance points change as soon as the walk turns into a run and that is where the weakness in the knee is.

Too bad you'll be leaving before we get there. We fly in on the 3rd in the evening (flight after DD gets out of school). Just make sure you leave some dole whips for the rest of us.

DS wants to fly to Miami to see a Marlins game. I for one have no idea why. I am thinking late July/early August. Are you around then and available to meet up some time. We would most likely be there for 2-3 days to do the tourist thing along with the game(s).

I can fly to Miami, buy two tickets and it's almost the same price as driving into a Red Sox game.

There will be film at 11. Right now I am up to about half a mile walking before the tendons tighten up and I need to stop to stretch them. But I promise, I do fight dirty.

Unless I am in the Keys, I will be here. No planned trips after the June one to WDW. She has an internship over the summer so I canceled the cruise. I am on the lookout for an RCL cruise deal over the summer if she can get off. Certainly can plan that around your visit. I'll even go to the ballpark with you. Plenty of good seats on stub hub for a fraction of retail.

I agree with you and have no idea why he wants to see the Marlins. The ballpark is pretty cool though. Very Miami feel and look to it. Big difference between there and Fenway.

Good morning guys. Nice start to the weekend with the garage door breaking - both cables on each side snapped. Waiting around for the repairman so that we can pay for his repair as well as the one to replace aluminum trip on the roof from storms a week ago. Nobody hurt and in the grand scheme of things just a minor pain in the backside. Thanks for the thoughts on the kidney stones. Doing ok now no pain but still have some sand in the right one that they blasted last week so gonna need to have a few beers at this weekend. Definitely gonna have to have the left one done as they can see some stones that would pass on their own but at least 3 that will not pass due to their size and they can only do one side at a time due to only being able to hit the body with a certain amount of these waves. Looking a June based on family and work schedules so hopefully these big ones will sit still until then. I sound like Gandolf from LOR "you shall not pass".
