Hey, DisneyFed, was that you in Marrero this morning? I saw 2 white and 3 black SUVs, and one pick-em-up truck, tearing up the other side of the Expressway, LEDs a-flashing. No idea who that was, but somebody thought they were a whole lot more equal than the rest of us. What I can't figure out is Where the Beverly were they coming FROM?

Nope, that weren't me....I run a Charger---and I run it in Florida and Georgia. A lovely TDY to Orleans before, during and after Katrina was enough of South Louisiana for me Though that didn't stop me from making the last Bassmasters Classic down there

On a side note, I went to Homicide School with a couple of Gretna Detectives about 18-19 years ago (Jesus I'm getting old)

Speaking of which... (and contrary to popular belief) I ain't dead yet! I just feel that way.

Got some kind of head cold/congestion thing going on, on top of what happened yesterday. Doctor found some kind of mass on my kidney and wanted a biopsy. You don't get knocked out for one of those, but you do get some happy drugs. I'm a bit foggy on what all happened, but the good news is that it wasn't even a solid mass once they actually got in there and started poking around. So eventually something will kill me, but it won't be that!

Doctor found some kind of mass on my kidney and wanted a biopsy. You don't get knocked out for one of those, but you do get some happy drugs. I'm a bit foggy on what all happened, but the good news is that it wasn't even a solid mass once they actually got in there and started poking around. So eventually something will kill me, but it won't be that!

Small world.... Hey, that sounds like a song
Reading that makes me wonder 1) WHY Gretna felt the need to send anyone to such a school, and 2) the extent to which that knowledge has stagnated since then. Proximity to New Orleans notwithstanding, Gretna has never been known as a hotbed of violent crime (Thank you, Chiefs Miller and Lawson)
