Depends on where in the United States...
The first time I visited San Francisco in June... Let's just say I live in Southern California so I did not pack appropriately.

I was talking to a friend that is going there in a few weeks. His employer has an office out there and he was talking to a co-worker about the weather. She lives east of the city and takes the train in. She'll board the train at home where it's 95°, and get off 45 minutes later in 64°.

Bruins have no cap space. A lot of talk on how to create some. Mostly a trade of either Boychuck or Marchand. Don't see that happening so it looks like status quo here. I do think we'll lose Iginla since he will get offers from elsewhere and the Bruins cannot possible match the offers given the situation.

Hawks are in the same boat - ain't getting a big FA unless they trade one of their core guys and that don't make too much sense. Plus they have Toews and Kane to re-sign and that is gonna be at least $10 million each from 2015/2016 forward.

My Flyers are over the cap, too. So it'll be a whole lot of nothing. On the other hand, they did give away Hartnell for a worse player making the same money, so...

Had to go to the dentist this morning to have a permanent crown put onto my tooth. Had most of the work done a couple of weeks ago. Boy that tooth is sensitive while the rip off the temp and place the new one in. Here's to hoping the next time is the last CJ. I wouldn't even wish detail work on my nemesis.

My dentist and I will be good friends for a while. I hear she is putting a deposit at Golden Oaks based on what it is going to cost.

Shopping is cheaper. And there is a heat warning here so we're looking to cool off.

It is 100 F right now with the humidity and we haven't hit our high temps yet.

High today in Miami is 87 with a feels like of 91. Plus we Floridians know how to do air conditioning. Come on down to cool off.

For the 7th consecutive year, July sneaked up on June in order of the calendar year. Our excel-to-web time entry program has Independence Day 12/7/2014 & Labor Day 1/9/14. Gotta loves those programming ..... professionals.

This is funnier than you know. My knee surgery is scheduled for a Friday before our friends have their annual Luau. My wife tried telling me that I should stay home. I sent a FB message telling our friends to come rescue me if she showed up without me. I actually referred to it as her "Buzz kill approach". I also said that she was bordering on communism (no offense to our Canadian friends.)

Recent events have been comical as a Penguins fan. People here clamor for change and then they get all worked up over changes when they happen!
Bottom line for us...build around Sid and Geno, focus on the young defensive guys and pray that Fleury gets his head right!

Thanks, we didn't get anything last night. The night before though the winds ripped off siding on one side of the house. We had 11 houses in the area lose trees in their front yard. When I came home it looked really different not seeing those.

Prayers appreciated, boss wants to meet this morning but would not give me details. I defended myself in our annual reviews a couple weeks back and I'm pretty sure it did not sit well with him when I supported my side with email and text evidence.

Morning....now that the holiday is over, things can get back to a semblance of normalcy. Well at work at least, we still have 2 1/2 weeks without the girls, so strangely quiet around here.

Prayers and thoughts. If you backed up with evidence, there should really be no issue you'd think. I hate it when management thinks they are always right.
