Morning and Happy Canada Day!

So quiet around here without the girls, they are on a three-week vacation to Sarnia with their grandparents. Sitting around the air conditioning today avoiding that sticky heat outside.

Glad to hear you're on the up and up… You're running out of excuses to come to the East Coast. What's next? You gonna tell us you loved gold so much you even lost your genitaliens in an unfortunate smelting accident?

He likes gooooooolllllllllllllld :rotfl2:

STOP THE PRESSES! You're tell me that you are coming from CANADA to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA to avoid the heat?!?!

:faint:

Yeah, would you guys mind turning down your thermostat? It's getting a little sweaty up here

It is 100 F right now with the humidity and we haven't hit our high temps yet.

Top O' the Mornin to yas. DS did not reach the semi-finals nor finals at TSA Nationals but he is having a great time in DC so the experience has been great for him. Almost the half way point of the week for most of us so let's be safe out there.....

Happy Canada Day to the Dads up north.

Cabin. We go every other year with DW's parents and siblings and their families. We always get a big cabin so everybody has their own bedroom. Always a good time. :thumbsup2
Thats the best way to do it - enjoy
Another three hour ordeal, lots of bridgework, filing etc. Plus the one tooth that needs to come out is still there. Have to go back in a couple of weeks. Then a series of crowns, plugs and the like. I swear my teeth think they are British.
:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2:

To all the other NHL DisDads in about 2 hrs is the start of free agency, so the Stasny frenzy will begin, hoping to see him in a preds jersey but don't think they have the money and he will prob end up back in Col.

Watched team USA defeat Team Japan on American Ninja Warrior last night. Now, it's time to defeat the Belgium's..

What is it that you do? I'm thinking it's time for a career change. I could deal with 3 months of paid leave! :thumbsup2

State University. I don't get paid much, enough for an annual WDW trip, but the benefits are great.

To WDW of course!:)

Just making sure. They looked like they were having fun in those pictures, so I didn't know if you were planning a Griswold European vacation.

On a side note, we just may have found a way to get some Disney time.
It’s probably not a smart plan, and it won’t go into action for nearly a year…
But ya’ gott’a keep keep dreaming.

Do share. Any plan for more Disney time is worth considering.

Root canal a success. A big drain on the wallet but a success. My judicial plans apparently are falling on deaf ears. However I'm still on the right side of the soil, so everything can't be that bad. ?

Glad to hear all went well.

My pharmacist wife tells me percocet\alcohol is a bad combo. She's talking to my surgeon to get me a script for something different for my recovery from knee surgery.
.

But what to pharmacists know. Sounds like they are being a buzz kill - literally. :lmao:

Shopping is cheaper. :lmao: And there is a heat warning here so we're looking to cool off. :rotfl2:

:confused3

First, it was the penguins. Now, it's the heat. :crazy2:

I love watching the frenzy that is UFA day. Gotta see who the Leafs overpay for each year :lmao:

Good to hear it went well and you are back and at 'em. Hard to imagine Rafiki not being able to hold up young ones

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Watching NBC's show on Diagon Alley. Looks impressive. Watch out Disney, Universal is gunning for you, time to step up your game.

Saw the show. It looks pretty cool.

Had to go to the dentist this morning to have a permanent crown put onto my tooth. Had most of the work done a couple of weeks ago. Boy that tooth is sensitive while the rip off the temp and place the new one in. Here's to hoping the next time is the last CJ. I wouldn't even wish detail work on my nemesis.

Bruins have no cap space. A lot of talk on how to create some. Mostly a trade of either Boychuck or Marchand. Don't see that happening so it looks like status quo here. I do think we'll lose Iginla since he will get offers from elsewhere and the Bruins cannot possible match the offers given the situation.

Good luck!

Or Chicago - would like to see the Preds pick-up depth as spending on 1 or 2 won't help considering the division they are in. JUST IN Spezza traded to the Dallas Stars

Hawks are in the same boat - ain't getting a big FA unless they trade one of their core guys and that don't make too much sense. Plus they have Toews and Kane to re-sign and that is gonna be at least $10 million each from 2015/2016 forward.

Stasny went to the Blues, I was hoping if preds didn't get him, he would atleast go out of division, ohh well who's next on the list?

So far leafs haven't overpaid or gotten anyone, surprised, neither have the preds. With the outrageous deals being handed out, most teams should sit on the sidelines.

Depends on where in the United States...
The first time I visited San Francisco in June... Let's just say I live in Southern California so I did not pack appropriately.
