Both kids puking. One on me while being rocked to sleep. Literally jumped in the shower fully clothed to start washing before throwing my clothes in the washer and finishing my shower. Just finished getting ds through round 2 while dw is lying with dd. I'm afraid to even close my eyes because he doesn't have the presence of mind to get himself to a toilet or even the bucket 1 foot away from him.

Long night ahead.

Prayers appreciated.

Morning guys...a little too morning if you ask me :faint:

Eldest daughter had an upset stomach this morning, so I'm on cleanup detail Had to be up for 5 anyways, naturally today is the day of a big head-office walk through, and of course, I'm in charge for it. Just trying to get all her bedding/favorite stuffies etc cleaned/washed before I head out. Hoping this can only go smoother from here on in.:rotfl2:
Hope she's doing better.

Rough weekend. DD the younger broke her leg in two places (monkey bars). She's immobile for the next three weeks which brings us right up to my 40th birthday-extravaganza-just me and the wife- make the AP's worth it - trip. That trip has been downgraded from a full go to questionable.
That's got to be scary. Hope she recovers quickly.

There is too much. Let me sum up.

Nice quote.

I just realized that this trip involves plane tickets. I don't think airlines are very understanding. DW still wants to go.

The folks who first put the soft cast on her said it was a severe fracture and they may put screws in it. The pediatric orthopedist this morning said it just needs a cast. The new cast is up to her thigh. But it's pink and she's excited about that.princess:
Glad she's taking it well

That's rough. Hope everyone gets well soon.

Brent, glad your daughter is feeling better. I don't know how you guys passed it on to Andy's kids, but it makes me worried about logging onto the DISBoards now.

Chris, hope your daughter heals well and you're able to take that anniversary trip. Hope she's not in too much pain.

Andy, I hope you survived the night ok. Stomach viruses are just...the worst.

Wow, there sure is a lot of sickness and injuries going around. I hope everyone heals up quickly and get back to normal.

Speaking spending the day sick....did you hear Taco Bell is planning on serving breakfast? This is an exact quote I pulled from the New York Daily News:

"We can turn the breakfast conversation into a two horse race," Taco Bell president Brian Niccol said in an interview, noting that Taco Bell intends to be a "strong No. 2" after McDonald's.

Two phrases stick out to me from that quote.

"into a two horse race" ... ummm...probably not the best choice of words considering it was not quite a year ago at this time that tests showed horse meat in some Taco Bells in Europe. Mmm...horse.

"intends to be a "strong No. 2"" .... oh, my. I've eaten at Taco Bell a few times in my life. I've never had a strong No. 2 afterwards. It's usually a pretty ugly No. 2.

Let's say that a regular Twinkie represents the normal amount of illness or affliction generally encountered among our members. Based on what I’ve read so far in trying to catch up were’ now talking about a Twinkie... thirty-five feet long, weighing approximately six hundred pounds.

This need fixin’. Prayers for all in need but especially for all our young ones.

Oh, and a heartfelt goodbye to Mr. Ramis.
You’ll be missed.

Ditto what Mark said. Stomach crud is the worst. Ok, kidney stones are the worst, but stomach crud gets honorable mention.

We have a throw up bucket that we usually pull out a minute too late. DD the younger took some of her narcotic pain medication Saturday on an empty stomach. Puked all over the couch. I kissed her cheek a couple hours later and could still smell it on her. DW isn't as thorough when giving a bath as I am.

Good afternoon guys, a bit late checking in today. It is definately that time of year for the sick bug going around but the DISDads families seem to be hit hard - all get well soon especially the kids.

So if I get this right, Taco Bell is going for a strong #2. They are making a run to the border so that they can live Mas. There is just too much material here, my brain is on overload.

Good morning. Or afternoon. Or whatever it is. I finally passed out sometime after 4:30. Conveniently enough, that is also the last time DS had any issues. I took the day off to stay home with the kids today. Just wish that DD would have let me sleep past 7:30. I'm really dragging, but somehow those 2 seem to be doing well and have way too much energy. Is it nap time yet??? :lmao:

Glad the kids are better. You guys probably hate when I say this, but enjoy these little gems in time with the kids & family guys :)
