Morning guys...a little too morning if you ask me

Eldest daughter had an upset stomach this morning, so I'm on cleanup detail Had to be up for 5 anyways, naturally today is the day of a big head-office walk through, and of course, I'm in charge for it. Just trying to get all her bedding/favorite stuffies etc cleaned/washed before I head out. Hoping this can only go smoother from here on in.

Why does it always happen at 3 or 4 in the morning, hope DD feels better soon.

Monday morning brings no servers on at work. Don't remember power going out at my house. Anyway, it's only 7 AM CT, so I'll need to wait for IT. I'll be doing the daily 144 mile driving experience this week. And, with all these weather changes, I'm coughing and sniffling. I'm ready for this week to end already.

Rough weekend. DD the younger broke her leg in two places (monkey bars). She's immobile for the next three weeks which brings us right up to my 40th birthday-extravaganza-just me and the wife- make the AP's worth it - trip. That trip has been downgraded from a full go to questionable.

I just realized that this trip involves plane tickets. I don't think airlines are very understanding. DW still wants to go.

The folks who first put the soft cast on her said it was a severe fracture and they may put screws in it. The pediatric orthopedist this morning said it just needs a cast. The new cast is up to her thigh. But it's pink and she's excited about that.

Ouch So sorry to hear that and hope she is getting along as good as expected and not too uncomfortable or too much pain. Keep us posted on how she's doing and when you make a final call on your trip. All the best to DD.

Ok, I don't mean to rub it in on y'all; just a little payback for all the DDCCII buzz last month ;P
We all braved a trip across the River on Saturday night and officially caught 2 parades, so we can now spend Mardi Gras day (March 4th), at Disney with a clear conscience.

I can't promise anything, but I'll try to take enough notes/pictures for a decent trip report this time. It'll probably be an exposition on the pitfalls of NOT fully planning a trip to the World. If anybody else is going to be there next week, keep an eye out... I'll be the one wearing beads, and probably a Mardi Gras-themed shirt. Should narrow it down enough, right?

Thanks for the thoughts, Amelia's doing pretty good, worst is over I think. Her only real regret is missing school, there was a creative writing workshop today with an author in that she wanted to attend. But she knows the score, rest is more important.

Myself, I'm pretty worn out, work went well, just get through tomorrow, and I can catch up my lost sleep
