Quiet day with the parents so far, opened the gifts and the turkey is on the oven. No parade here today, Dad has to watch his show - The Price is Right.

Good Morning Fellas!!

Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas, prayers going out to those that are having a difficult time at this time of year.

Our furnace was put in Monday morning and the house is warm again. We had our Christmas dinner at my in-laws on sunday, we had some friends over on Monday and went to my Moms yesterday. we are going to DW's Grandmothers house soon.

Daddy-O made a big breakfast this morning after we opened gifts and my pants are feeling a little tight this afternoon.

DS11 got XBOX 360 with kinect and the Disneyland game, pretty cool game.

More than 10 pages behind... that's my new rule. If I get here and I am more than 10 pages behind, I just jump back in.

I've been out of commision for a bit. As I am sure you know Toronto was hit with a brutal ice storm that took down powerlines leaving close to 400,000 homes in and around Toronto powerless. Many of whom still do not have power.

We lost ours for approx 40 hours from Saturday Night until Monday afternoon.

After our power came back, we had my sis-in-law come over to stay as hers was not back up yet.

It's been a bit of a battle, but strong minds and hearts get ya through it.

With that said...

Darcy - Sorry to read about your loss. Prayers and Condolences.

And Brent - Sorry I haven't been around, I actually mentioned to DW that we make a surprise visit to your dads visitation, and pay our respects to the family, but unfortunately the weather and power situation kept us away. We were thinking of you guys in your time of need, and pray for the family. Sounds like it was a nice send off. Stay strong for the family.

Things are starting to settle down...Ground Zero around the tree is still looking like Beirut. I am hoping that while we sleep tonight Santa sends the cleaning elves in to help out! I hope everyone had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did..Now I can put full focus on the upcoming trip in a few weeks and seeing you guys in person!

Merry Christmas all. Got back home around 3am from my moms with a load of gifts. The girls got up at 8 ready to open their Santa Claus. Girls had a good haul then I made Mickey pancakes for breakfast, still waiting on that cleaning elf to show up so I can kick back and play with my new drill and mixer
