Welcome to the weekend! Hopefully not many of you are stuck going to work as I am. At least it's overtime pay. Little extra spending cash for holidays or upcoming trip!
Little setback as DW got rear-ended heading into work this morning. No real damage, but the rear bumper looks rough. She's going to have someone look at it tomorrow after I'm dropped off to work. Just more a pain in the you-know-what.!!
Have an enjoyable day at work Brent. I hope your dad is better today.
Here is a little something for Norm.

Latest update on Dad is that they've decided to move him to ICU to keep a closer eye on him. They are wondering if some of the toxicity from the chemo is what's affecting him. Trying to get more info.

Thanks guys. He's stable and resting. I think there will be no more chemo for him, they think his being sick is due to the toxicity of the chemo like mentioned before. Mom is happy that he is in ICU she knows they are more likely to be on top of things. Plus one of the nurses is the wife of a firefighter and already knows him. That's a plus. Sister mentioned he seems to be looking a lot better now for what that's worth.

Good to hear he is stable, continued thoughts your way. It seems a lot of stuff is going on within members of the group. I got some bad news about a friend yesterday and could really hear something good from someone.
Anyone win the lottery?
Though he misses out on the young trainees, some of the seasoned ICU nurses will be better for him. Continued prayers for you all.
Good morning all. Hope you all have a good weekend. I am battling post Disney blues and my wife has it 10 times worse..... such is life I suppose.

Well, it's like the Mid-west/Mid-South here in Canada, we finally got snow with a vengence. Waited 45 minutes for a bus in the storm, still feeling the effects. Will keep going through the night too.
Let me check my tickets....Damn...
I prefer the ICU because of the extra machines, they always know whats going on.
I admit though, I'm feeling alot like you avatar Joe Btfsplk
Well, I now have a new phone. That was an unexpected $100 bill at Christmas time. I guess three years with that food was good enough. Now, the vacuum cleaner, tv, garage door opener, one vehicle transmission, and dishwasher need to be replaced. I need to cancel Disney vacations or donate plasma.
The Disney blues. Been singing those myself as well, especially with cold weather and snow on the ground.
Toxicity from chemo? Continued prayers.
If I did, I wouldn't have posted that first paragraph.
That didn;t last long anyways, I prefer the ICU because of the extra machines, they always know whats going on.

Ouch. May Santa bring you some Pappy Van Winkle to ease your pain.
I sure as heck didn't win. When it rains it seems to poor. Sorry for everything happening at once.
We haven't gotten any so far so we will keep trying. Did everyone survive the "storm"? We got about 4" of snow, but nothing we couldn't deal with.
