I've known it for years but it is official. She is Dopey. Oh, and Goofy. Pics and stuff later today or tomorrow.

Saw the post on FaceBook, that is an impressive accomplishment. Congrats to the Princess.

Our day was spent in the dym with a couple of tough games for Nashwaaksis Middle School Boys Varsity team today but still finished fourth in the first tournament of the year. Can't complain for only having 2 practices so far. Declan was player of the game in the morning game.

Weather wise we were the complete opposite of yesterday. On the way home from the games yesterday and we saw people skating on some of the streets; today they wouldn't have been able to skate on the outdoor rinks. They may have been able to swim though.

Congrats to the kids making the dads proud!:thumbsup2

Good Morning Gentlemen!!!

Want to Thank all the Dads that went down to the DDCC it was awesome time. Paul: THANK YOU even more !! World Showcase Run was a success!!.
Was a great trip and I am already looking forward to next yr. I have skipped posting in here and tried to limit my posts on FB as to not make some of you "Disney" sick.
But I do need to say this.Start working on next yr guys.If you havent made it to a DDCC yet you really need to try and make one. They are awesome. The roster for next yr is already looking pretty good. The running list for next yr is also off to a good start. The race was a blast and worth every bit of the pain and suffering one goes through. So even if you are not in the best of shape(look at me !!) you should try this. Every one that ran made it out alive. We now have a full yr to work on the next so get your planning in early.

OK back to our regular schedule bs'ing

Well done with your run!

So is it time to start the Nemesis Challenge III thread yet? :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm proud of you brother… well done! :thumbsup2

So it's official I have been notified that I am being considered for seperation from the AF. Which happens to be a real Beverly. Now I get to do the good old fasion "hurry up and wait". I will not find out my fate until sometime around June so until then my life is effectively on hold. I can at least take solace in the fact that there is not a thing I can do to improve my chances of staying in just stick it out and pray.

Morning all…
First off… congrats to all the kids that did great things this weekend.
Good to see all of them excel.
That’s why we’re here.

Now you can skip over this next part if you like.
Busy weekend here; 650 miles round trip on Friday and then up early Saturday to make up for the work I missed the day before. Intended to finish cleaning out the storage locker but the rain was ferocious all day and came with near gale force winds as well. So I took the Lady of the House out to see a movie instead. “Saving Mr Banks” was on the bill… a bit different than I expected, but I enjoyed it all the same. Sunday was spent doing the work that couldn’t be done the day before. On the up side, the storage locker is now empty and I won’t need to pay for that any more. On the down side, I felt like I’d been beaten afterward and there is still way too much crap in the new smaller-economy-size house. A couple of rooms seem to be nothing more than a narrow walkway. It will get fixed, but it’s just taking longer that I want it too.

And then there’s the Panthers…
Their normal abilities finally showed back up in abundance and things are now back to normal in the Carolinas. I’m currently planning on making a major effort to not watch even a millisecond of the Super Bowl. Don’t care for anyone else still in the running and the threat of a Bruno Mars half time performance is not what I’d call and enticing reason to even bother.

That is a very impressive array of hardware!
Nicely done.

Not gonn’a happen…
My employer will not allow me to travel in January.
Not now… not ever (and retirement ain’t an option)

Glad y’all enjoyed the trip and I hope you do keep doing it.
I’ll just have to watch from the side lines, but do keep posting about it so the rest of us can live vicariously if not in actuality.

Sorry to hear this. Nothing is so frustrating as a situation over which you no say or control. Hopping for the best possible outcome.

That's some serious tin...:cool2:

Cj, I enjoyed my trip to the Orange Bowl this time..:rotfl2:

Trial ended. I won. Bad guy gets to go to jail for no fewer than 30. I'm betting the 15 he got offered sounds really good right about now...:headache:

Sorry for my ignorance but is this like being forced to retire?

A win for the side of good.
Ya’ gott’a wonder about some folks. I suspect that the same personality “traits” that made him think he could beat the rap here are the same ones that convinced him that he could evade any consequence for his actions in the first place. It’s a supreme type of selfishness.

I hate to say I told you so, but you definitely should have got the roll away dumpster instead of the storage locker. :rotfl2:

No kidding. When I saw he was the halftime show I couldn't believe it... I mean, really??????

I did see though that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are going to be part of the show. I'm still holding out hope that Bruno Mars can't perform for some reason or another and they just do the whole show.

Congrats on the run, Carl!

I'd love to go to the DDC one year, but it's always going to be iffy as far as being able to afford it. Usually we get one trip a year, and my family wouldn't be too happy if I left them behind.

Sorry to hear that. Are there any alternatives out there?

Sounds like it's time to sell the house with all of the possessions inside, buy the RV and hit the road. :thumbsup2

Still haven't seen Saving Mr. Banks, but I'm looking forward to it. Lots of positive word-of-mouth on that.

Sorry about your Panthers. I was hoping they'd pull it off. I'm sure I'll still watch the Super Bowl (and skip the halftime show as usual). It's mostly your best excuse of the entire year to eat garbage all day long. :thumbsup2

Impressive. Congrats to the Cheetah. Seems like just yesterday she ran circles around me... I really would like to run all the races but the wife is firmly opposed to it. I've never run a full marathon so I suppose I should do that before running 46 miles in a weekend.
Very impressive. One for each medal...

I think you missed one. She got 6 medals.

Well, well, well... It looks like someone has been bitten by the running bug.

I hate to say I told you so, but you definitely should have got the roll away dumpster instead of the storage locker. :rotfl2:

And I’d have been perfectly happy to do it that way, but…
I’m no more in charge of my household then you are of yours and we both know it.
She’ll likely let most of it go now that it’s mucking up the new house; it will just take a while longer for that reality to become unavoidable and for acceptance to settle in.

No kidding. When I saw he was the halftime show I couldn't believe it... I mean, really??????

I did see though that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are going to be part of the show. I'm still holding out hope that Bruno Mars can't perform for some reason or another and they just do the whole show.

I saw the note about the Peppers; an improvement but an odd combination. I know exactly why Mars is the headliner… the NFL (and more specifically, the advertisers) desperately want more women to watch the festivities. I expect that half times will be perpetually lame from now on.

I’ve considered the RV plan, but it will have to wait a while yet (and probably a long while at that.)

Mr Banks was very good. More about Travers then about the collaboration process (and more “based” on the story then actually depicting the story), but very good.

As for the Panthers… at least they’ve actually started improving somewhat. We’ve had nothing but annual mediocrity for a while now. We’ll see if the trend of gradually getting tougher and smarter continues (I give our chances at 1 in 3). But if so, they’ll be worth praising in another year or two. We’ll see if they earn that respect in time. As for this year… football is over in our house. But I don’t need that excuse to eat too much junk food anyway. That will likely happen just because it’s Monday. :lmao:

+!

January is a crazy month and SWMBO isn't going to let me off to Disney without her and the kids assuming we could afford it.

...

D'oh. :headache:

I took a stab at it from CJ's link description. I didn't want SWMBO catching me staring at athletic 20-somethings and have to try to explain I was counting medals. :rolleyes1
