Sorry 'bout Florida CJ but like you posted they had company. Finished yard work and got patio heater all set up with the temps now getting into the 30's overnight. Had fire pit goin last night making s'mores and entertaining DDs friends.

Done for the day and gonna have some pizza and a couple of cold ones while watching Hawks and ND tonight.

Have a god night guys!

Thanks guys, we have arrived in Rock Hill. We are deciding where and what to eat. We are about an hour and a half late thanks to a little thing called Bridge Day, apparently 1 day a year they close the I19 bridge so people can jump off of it........detour took us through a lovely area of West Virginia.

I had to pick this day!!!!!

That combined with a little traffic in Charlotte and we are finally here.

Now to have some dinner.

Beats the cruddy rainy day back home Nick.

In less than 24 hours, you will be at the most magical place on earth, so in the grand scheme... 90 minute delay, not to bad.

Enjoy your vacation.

:thumbsup2

Sorry to hear about the delay. Glad to hear you're that close. We have a bridge day as well, but no one jumps off of it - just walk across it.

Happy early anniversary and hopefully there's a TV their for the game - GO HAWKS - should be a good game if Hawks wake up and get their offense goin.

Yeah, looks good for Hawks Fans...

And it begins...just later then usual :rotfl2:

Yikes, detours make DW nervous. Our only delay really was 30-45 minutes to cross the border

... Except for the storm cloud that is following me around right now.

Somebody call? :lmao:

No time to catch up but prayers as needed, congrats to those deserving and welcome any new guys I missed.

Typical work CRUD and flying out Monday for a week of meetings I have no desire to attend. At least I may keep up with the board better next week.

Agreed!! We wanted to pull in a little early so we could try a new place to eat and maybe do a little shopping around here. All things considered we made good time.

I wish we could have we made it just in time to be detoured and when we made it back to 19 everyone was leaving so we got caught up in the traffic.
It does seem like a really cool thing just wished I knew about it.

Ya we made pretty good time all things considered. We ended up eating at Olive Garden, kids love it and is always a good way to get some salad into all of us.

Ya, we were a little nervous at first as well, the signs didn't mention detour until we got right up to it but they did say bridge closed about 40 miles ahead and every ten miles after that.

We crossed at the rainbow and were across in 5 mins.

Time for bed, I will try and post some pics when I get to the world.

BTW if anyone is traveling on this route the exit and hotel and entire area is awesome!! Clean, seems quite safe and a whole lot of choice for food and stores.

You made a hell of a good distance, that was just north of where we stopped on Day 2!

A cold, but sunny day at the soccer field. Game time temp was 49 degrees. Team won 1-0, with youngest scoring only goal.

Good for her.

Thanks and you can add A&M and LSU to the group.

Believe it or not I have a fire pot on the deck and a fireplace in the house. Had some large branches of the oak that abuts the house cut down and I plan on burning them sometime this winter. One Christmas I decided to use the fireplace but it was so warm I had to turn on the AC.

So it was you following me around today. Sorry about the Beverly at work and I hope it gets better.

Red Sox and Cardinals. I guess someone needs to go and scrape Jim off the ceiling. Should be a good WS. I'm rolling with the Cardinals - have to stay with those NL Central teams.

We have religious Ed & soccer today. It is currently 38 degrees outside and 63 degrees in our house. I haven't turned the heat on yet, but did get out the electric heater for our living room. It seems to be working well enough.

Good for her.

.

Thanks You FL people crack me up with the heat. We stayed at Vero Beach that one year, and it was cooler in the evening after the sun went down. Still, it was in the upper 60s, and all the vacationers we wearing shorts and t shirts while the CMs were wearing jackets.

Morning guys

Morning nemesis. I forgot to give that second bracelet to younger dd for her birthday in June and found it in my hiding place when we returned from WDW. So, I gave it to her and she really likes it.

Good Mornings Guys!!!!

On the road again.......

The best part of the road trip - crossing the WDW entrance. Have a safe trip.

Anyone else decorate for Halloween? We have a toter of decorations (compared with 10 for Christmas) and this is the feature piece. DW has this when she was younger and it makes an appearance every year. It has a light bulb in the inside.

Morning Guys.

Cool, rainy Sunday morning here. Sounds like a do as little as possible kind of day.

Captain Phillips was better than expected; it was pretty emotional at the end.
