AirGoofy, we are members at AKV.

We'll be at EPCOT the 17th and the 24th. We're basically at each park two days for our stay. Let me know if you'd like to do a meet up.

I don't know. We'll see how the Patriots do next week against Atlanta. It will be a good comparison to what the Dolphins did with them yesterday. The preseason is finally over for us. Of course while everyone was downing the AFC East, the only losses in the division so far are to division rivals and only 3 losses. Guess it's tougher than projected.

Not convinced on how well the Dolphins will do this year but I am enjoying the ride. Only the first three weeks in but maybe the demise of the AFC East was greatly exaggerated.

What does IB stand for? Never heard the term. Our kids get loaded with homework every night, including weekends. We heard some new families to town that were shocked they get homework on the weekends. We'll have no issues with college by the time we get there either.

IB is International Baccalaureate. Basically it is AP on steroids. Great prep for college but you sacrifice your social life for the school year.

Corey pretty much nailed it. Very rigorous program and the Junior and Senior years are brutal. She had to write multiple 10-20 page papers. And it is unforgiving. Deadline means deadline. Senior exams there are no excuses and no make ups. Get into an accident on the way to school during exam week, you better have the ambulance drop you off at class. They lost about half of their class between Freshman year and Graduation. Three kids made it all the way but screwed up on their extended essay and did not graduate with the other IB kids.

Having said that, I would get her to do it again. And I think she also would. It is a challenge to get through but once they do, the kids have this almost cult like bond. And sense of accomplishment. She laughs at kids at SH that complain about having to write a 1,000 word paper. She could do that in her sleep. Made her a more disciplined student that really pays off in college.

Come on... the third isn't that bad! It deserves to be up there too. I mean I don't even know how many times parts of that CB radio conversation were repeated among my friends in college. Particularly the sumbi--- pile of monkey nuts part.
