Popping in real fast. I know there are some Apple geeks here. DD dropped DW's iPad and now the screen is blank. It will flicker occasionally. Any ideas on how to fix it?
You mean the camp is not for you?![]()
I'd keep it for myself!

Nice to see Hanley Ramirez hit a triple in the playoffs. Oh wait, he isn't wearing a Marlins' uniform. Maybe he will meet Miguel Cabrera in the World Series. Oh wait again, Miguel is not in a Marlins' uniform. Bitter, party of one. Can't watch baseball anymore.

Had a good Sunday. My FIL was released from the hospital, was in for a bit due to some issues with his Leukemia treatment. Spent 2 hours with him and my girls were ecstatic to be able to hang out with him.
Evening, gents. Hope everyone got to enjoy their weekend festivities. Those who didn't, live vicariously through the dads at the World currently.

Also got some stuff done around the house and get to see the Pirates raise the Jolly Roger again!![]()
Well, it could just be broken,
BUT, it could be the sensors inside being stuck, which will cause it to flicker in and out, or the video connections. There is a "nightstand" trick you can try, get a solid table/object and kind of hit the edges of the ipad perpendicular to the table. There is also "the hammer" method, which *I* have never used, but it seems to be the same thing.

Those are the easy DIY fixes. The apple store is usually pretty legit on their estimates if you take it in, and won't charge you 500 bucks to fix a $400 toy. That said, its the Apple store, so ya know, there is that...
If you wanna get hardcore you can actually crack it open, but I wouldn't bother unless you really know what your doing. Lots of people have success with the non-apple repair places too, like i-fixit or whatever. They usually have the most common parts on hand and fix them in a day.
I second the iFixit store. Fixed my broken iPhone 4 in 20 minutes. Looking forward to seeing you at Epcot on Thursday.
Morning Gents.
Get to play in a charity golf tournament later today. I hope the rain holds off.
Is 7 AM too early for a beer? Not when there is football on. Fly Eagles Fly!
As long as you kidnap my boss for me so I can give him a piece of my mind...![]()
