Happy Turkey Day, men...to you and your family\friends. I hope it is a special day for all. Those who are dealing with trials and tribulations, prayers are with you and may you endure whatever challenges you are facing.

I hope everyone has a scrumptious feast ahead of them. I am making the deviled eggs now and mentally preparing for my consumption of about 5000 calories this afternoon!

Thanksgiving Pants

First off… I’m thankful that I can drop in over here from time to time.
You’re all good Joes.

A Happy Thanksgiving to all

And for those that want a more traditional Turkey…
Here’s our favorite method for preparing such:

Good morning gents!

I'm thankful to have some down time this weekend to hang out with my family, check in on the boards, and eat 'til I pop. We have two big meals to get to today.

Been working the end of one major project and the beginning of another. The beginning and the end are the busiest times. Was looking forward to slowing down a bit next month, then I was asked to support yet another project in Maine. The next day, I find out the the same week I am in Maine, the boss will be supporting a project in Florida. Must be nice to be the boss.

While I haven't had much time to post, I've been trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to keep up with whats going on here in the club and our other places. Glad to see that Randall is recovering well and I hope that everyone else is good too.

Have a great Thanksgiving DisDads!

Good to hear from you Mike!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! :thumbsup2

Happy Thanksgiving to my Dis Dad friends and their families. The Pirate Princess is done with her run, and the meal prep work is done. Stuffed mushrooms are finished, ready for consumption and the turkey is in the oven. Preparing myself for massive intake of some of my favorite foods.

Wishing everyone a great day today.

Happy thanksgiving dads.
Just got the Turkey carved and the Ham off the smoker. Just waiting on the rest of the dishes to come out of the oven. Sittin back with my Granddad watchin football. Thanksgiving indeed.

Inlaws visit #1 - Horse show on TV.
Inlaws visit #2 - Fox news.

I should have had inlaws watching football on the marriage criteria list.

Question for the few that will venture online today: Is Saturday after Black Friday really nutso as well? This is my one weekend off before Christmas, and we are doing the Sarnia visit thing, but DW and I want to head over the bridge to Port Huron for a bit of grocery/Christmas Shopping, which we do every year, but we've always avoided "Black Friday" Weekend for the insanity of it. :

Probably need to check that area. If they do a third day of sales or have new inventory, then it would be crazy. Here, after Black Friday, there isn't much traffic.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Happy Thanksgiving to you nemesis as well. Will it be 8 of you next Thanksgiving? Continued prayers for you and your family during this process.

Yes! There will be 8 of us, Lord willing. It looks like if we can raise the last chunk we need we will travel late Feb/early March :thumbsup2

No football for me today. Our antenna is not working.

Happy Chanukah to those who are celebrating as well. Aaron and Brian I know of.

Survived in-laws. Time for a beverage. Another turkey tomorrow with my parents, brother, uncle and cousins.

Happy thanksgiving Friday. Off to see the treasures of disney archives at the museum today. Scoping it out for a disdad meet in spring. Hope all of you are doing welll!!!!

So let's be honest, how many of you are out there shopping this morning?

:lmao:

Done. I only went for two things. DW needed a new case for her phone, so I went to Best Buy and got a Lifeproof that was on sale and I had a $25GC to use :thumbsup2

We needed new sheet sets for the boys room so I went to Target as well.

I lead a super exciting life :lmao:
