Morning Guys,

beautiful Sunday morning here. I think it is going to be another scorcher.

Good afternoon gentlemen. Just got done watching Andy Murray earn his knighthood. DS and I are heading out out to the golf course for his first time on the links.

I also wanted to pop in and look at my counter. :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Congrats to him. Looks like they got the seeding right on the men's side, with early exits by Nadal and Federer. I'm watching Pirates and Cubs, but keep finding myself on the women's beach volleyball between China and Germany. I am really enjoying these cultural studies, but would learn better with a hands on approach. :thumbsup2 ;) :lmao:

So I guess you are more of a tactile learner? :lmao:

We started the shopping for the trip this weekend. New crocs all around with Disney jibbits. (dad gets Dopey). At the grocery store now trying to keep the regular week groceries separate from the groceries for the trip. Mom is pulling her hair out me and DD keep hitting her with the basket.

For women's pro beach volleyball - definitely. : Certainly changed my thoughts about traveling to Germany and China. :lmao:

One should never stress over a Disney vacation. I think that is a Man Law, but if not, then it should be.

Do you wear crocs at the Parks? Normally I don't, but I somehow managed to hurt my foot one trip and it hurt to wear my tennis shoes, but not my crocs. However, one year at Panama City Beach, wearing the crocs rubbed a huge blister on the side of my big toe. Every since then, I have been nervous and only wore my crocs on a limited basis.

Glad you had a great trip, and the pictures were fun to watch. ... I would still prefer a trip to WDW.
::yes::

Can't fight with technology or the terminator will get you. Good luck with the distance stuff. Is this a permanent situation? Or, any interest in selling the other place?

We took it of the market. The two biggest employers in the area are both downsizing so there are more houses than buyers. We didn't even get an insulting low offer last time we had it listed and that was selling to break even. Since then I've had to put in a new heat pump and looking at a new roof in the next year. It gives SWMBO a place to escape. There is Kentucky and then there is "Kentucky" and you know where we live. As long as we can swing it we will keep doing it and I just consider it a non-deductible medical expense for SWMBO's mental health. Happy wife may mean happy life but unhappy wife guarantees unhappy life.

Better watch those flying frying pans :duck:

All that work..for broccoli? :crazy2:...

Not my favorite but a good fall crop with better than average returns for our growers and a relatively easy crop to grow.

Feel free to send the big yellow ball this way. We are on track for the wettest summer on record here.

Hope you and DS had a good time and congrats on the double digits on the ticker.

I am not stressed. My wife stresses enough for both of us. Even if everything is going well she makes up a reason to stress.

I have never worn them to Disney but we wear them to the local six flags and have had good luck. They dry quick and keep our feet from burning on hot concrete. I haven't been to Disney since I was in high school and crocs hadn't been invented then lol.
I had to get new ones cause I have worn out my old pair. I wear them almost every weekend around the house. I even mow in them.

.

I'm sure there is a way to deduct it somehow. As my uncle said, a lawyer, he considers paying his taxes as simply making an initial offer to the government.

Yep the classic version, not the soulless remake

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

I liked the soulless remake better.

Good to know you weren't stressed. Never mowed in the crocs as I usually wear them out as well.

Nice shout out to the owl in the remake though

Agreed. Kind of like Lou Ferrigno in one of the Hulk movies.

My wife's Honey Doo project for today was to move the swing set, sounds easy enough right:confused3 WRONG, if I only had to move it , it would be no problem, but now that we had a tree removed, she wanted me to switch sides for slide/fort combo, well if anyone ever tried to take a metal swing set apart, you know they use the cheapest nuts & screws known to man, they rust together so you can never get it apart, especially since the bolt was a flat head screw with nut combo:eek:

Once again it was time to whip out the air tools:cool1:, I knew the air ratchet would only spin the screws, so it was up to my never fail air cut off wheel and a pair of vice grips:confused3, since the nut was tight against the metal I could not cut it clean off, so I went with a cross cut on the nut then squeezed it like a peanut shell and they cracked right off:thumbsup2, I was kind of amazed that I didn't cut into the bars since the air cut off wheel moves faster then any electric tool, my wife came out to see how I was doing it was like 4th of July with all the sparks flying around:rotfl:

Out of all my tools this is my favorite:thumbsup2, although I would not recommend it if you have not been properly trained on how to use it, it is extremely dangerous, I've seen parts of fingers lost:scared1:, in the last 25yrs I had 2 ER visits using it:rolleyes1

Morning guys. Getting back into the routine after spending last week up in Maine. :coffee: Did I miss anything? :confused3
