Well, good morning. Bad news, it is Monday. Good news, I'll be on vacation in 6 days.

Morning Guys.

I want to leave now, can someone fill in for me at work?

‘Morning all…
Back in hel… errrr… I mean at work.
(But at least that other place is a little bit cooler at times).

Good gravy, why have I not found this illustrious group before now? I was eligible to join on Jan 1 of this year when my son decided he wanted out a few weeks early :cool1:

Welcome sir!
And a belated happy birthday to your boy.
It’s a grand adventure you’ve begun, but it will race right by you if you’re not careful.

Just discovered this troupe after listening to a 2010 DIS Unplugged episode

Greetings from Hubbardston Mass!

Fresh off the NE Dis Meet

And welcome to you too. We’re glad to have you along.
There are several folks right around where you’re camped.
I’m sure that they’ll be quick to invite you out for a brew and conversation in the near.

Morning guys. Got home yesterday afternoon after a 9 1/2 plane flight. I was beat and crashed early. Feel better this morning. Time to restock the fridge and throw the laundry in the washer.

Great trip but three weeks was a long time away. Lots of memories and stories.

Welcome home… Not really, I think you need to go back on the road.
I’m not sure a measly three week vacation is near enough time away from the realities of work.
We’ve enjoyed the updates from jolly ol’ England. I’d love to see and hear more about it myself so feel free to toss out some more details if you get the chance.

Yah that’s bad news alright.
I’d say enjoy the upcoming vacation time... but that wouldn’t be very nemesis-istic-ish of me.
I need to get my Time-Freeze-Inator working and aim the thing at central Indiana.
I think you need to be stuck at work for at least the next 37 straight months.

I’ll trade ya’. You come down here and fill in for me, and I’ll head up there and fill in for you.
The culture shocks alone should be entertaining.

Welcome back. :thumbsup2

Now don't tell me a state employee has so much work on his desk after a couple of weeks away that all he has time to do is wave.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Y’all still headed to the gulf coast?
(I’m actually quite jealous… any time spent on any coast line – and away from work - is good time spent.)
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 <====(And those are thumbs ;) )

Yep... We'll be in Chattanooga Saturday afternoon... still trying to decide what we'll do for a few hours there. Might depend how early we get there too. Sunday we'll go watch my Reds try to steal one on the road in Atlanta, and then we'll be spending 5 nights right on the beach in Panama City. :thumbsup2

Mark!
Welcome back!

No… that’s not right.
This means you’re back from Hawaii and no one should ever willingly leave Hawaii.

Agreed. We had a great time and it's killing me to actually be back at my desk this morning. :faint:

Looking forward to that trip report.

Don't worry, we only have 2,358 pictures to sort through. :thumbsup2

Thanks! I'm digging through my pile of emails asking the usual "Really? Someone else couldn't have answered this?" the usual 73% of the time. :sad2:

Sounds like a great time. How is the corn doing? Any pictures?

I was on your bridge on Saturday, I waved, did you wave back?

I hate that bridge.

Getting used to the time change. Still a bit tired. Got good news this morning. The Pirate Princess was cleared by the NCAA to compete. Like that was a big surprise. She is going to the doctor today to get her physical and she has to schedule an EKG. Her coach gave her a workout regime which she started in Paris. She is close to the goals he set but if everyone is breezing through these workouts, she is going to get creamed when they start practicing.

You know the normal. Couple new guys, couple birthdays, free beer for the guys who were here.

Yah, that sounds about righ… FREE BEER!
I missed free beer!!
:furious: :lmao:

The tram headed up Lookout Mtn. is an interesting diversion (assuming of course that you get there early enough to partake).

The rest of the plan sounds mighty fine. I’ve never been in a major league park myself… only ever seen minor league ball. I need to rectify that situation at some point.

2,358 pictures? It that all?

Slacker… :rotfl2:

Don't have any pictures at the moment, but looking pretty good. We've been getting plenty of rain and had ideal temperatures and it has absolutely rocketed up over the past week. Between yesterday morning before church and when we got home for lunch, I swear the field around our house had to have grown 6". Right now we look good, but the forecast is a little hotter and dry looking ahead to next week. Unfortunately, that's about when we'll be in the pollination stage and that's the worst possible time to see hot and dry weather.

Well, I'd like to do that. Haven't been up there since I was little. I also saw mention of a train museum and an old steam engine you can take a ride on in a TR and thought that looked fun. But DW wants to go to the aquarium they have there, so I guess we'll probably be going to the aquarium. Because fish in a glass tank is always the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Chattanooga... :rolleyes1

Yes. Yes you do. :thumbsup2

Was that you? I thought you were the guy mooning us.
Well, he didn't exactly specify what it was that he was waving... :rolleyes1
