Going to try something new for dinner today, I got 2 Buffalo Rib Eye Steaks:confused3

I love buffalo meat. Be careful when you cook it; it will get super dry in a hurry because it is so lean. I usually sear it over super hot direct flame then pull it over and finish it with indirect around 225 or 250.

Morning guys. Got home yesterday afternoon after a 9 1/2 plane flight. I was beat and crashed early. Feel better this morning. Time to restock the fridge and throw the laundry in the washer.

Great trip but three weeks was a long time away. Lots of memories and stories.

Glad you had a great trip, and the pictures were fun to watch. I went with my mom and grandmom when I was in school. Too young to drink, but good memories. I would still prefer a trip to WDW.

Waiting on a truckload of 5 cubic yards of topsoil to provide a day's full of hot sweaty entertainment for myself. Not looking forward to it, but gotta cleanup the yard that was tore up during the Mancave (a.k.a. The Shed) construction.
!

You'll need to post pictures of the new mancave. What accessories? Kegerator?

Sounds good.

Afternoon....last childless day, tomorrow we go get the kiddos. Sitting around after lunch. We had steaks that needed to be grilled before we head to Sarnia. So we grilled steaks, potatoes and grilled peppers, basicly dinner :rotfl2: DW is babysitting my bro's kids tonight so we had an early dinner. :thumbsup2

You're willing to take them back? :lmao: I love my dds, but after that first argument, I'm ready for another vacation from them.

DS wanted to come back with me but he will come back the first part of August to be followed by SWMBO and DD. I think he is getting too much estrogen up there but I spend too many long days on the road to leave him home alone yet. Another year or two if we are still here and maybe he will spend the summer.
.

Can't fight with technology or the terminator will get you. Good luck with the distance stuff. Is this a permanent situation? Or, any interest in selling the other place?

Happy Birthday SWISSDOG

Happy Belated Birthday gentlemen.

Good gravy, why have I not found this illustrious group before now? I was eligible to join on Jan 1 of this year when my son decided he wanted out a few weeks early :cool1:

Just discovered this troupe after listening to a 2010 DIS Unplugged episode

Greetings from Hubbardston Mass!

Fresh off the NE Dis Meet
Welcome newbies.

Watching Return of the Jedi and what a lovely Disney Princess sitting with Jaba.
My favorite princess.
Morning guys :coffee:

Joined Costco yesterday. In preparations for doubling our family size we wanted to start pricing and getting a feel for what bulk buys are good ones. Fruits and veggies were really good buys. During the summer we usually hit the farmers markets, but good to know they have some good choices.

Anyone else have experience with Costco?

We don't have a Costco here, but we have a Sam's membership. They have excellent produce there, and in bulk, i.e., 5 avacodos per bag. Now, if you don't like avacodos or won't them before they expire, then it is not a good deal. We make it a point to go on Saturdays when there are free samples and eat lunch. We find that if you buy what your normally would buy at a grocery store or otherwise, then you can get a good deal. It is those giant bins of cheeseballs that aren't good for you or the budget.

It's by far our favorite store... :thumbsup2

We get everything there...

OTC Meds... are much cheaper at Costco.

Their product quality is top notch, and their return policy is the best around...
What these guys said. I'd also add that their meat department is top notch. Be careful shopping for fish there. Lots of farm raised salmon and shrimp that isn't the best.

Good stuff. It will dry out fast so sear and cook it nice and slow. One of these days we're going to get us a half or quarter bison.

Got back yesterday and jumped into trying to get ready for a month of CRUD. Written off the sweet corn trials for the year, but we got 4500 broccoli plants seeded yesterday.

Good to see the family but it was just get in and try to get caught up on everything they were behind on. Brought the laptop back as SWMBO got a virus off the public library wireless. Think I have it fixed but it was a pain in the posterior. The McAfee antivirus kept shutting off. Have I mentioned how much I despise technology? :headache:

.

All that work..for broccoli? :crazy2:

It's funny. Years ago one of my old computers caught a nasty virus, just pure torture. McAfee was useless, I would keep trying to fix it to no avail. So since Rogers, my provider offered it's own antivirus, which I had put on the old laptop, I installed it on the system, and it found, disinfected and removed it just like that. You never know sometimes..

Yeah well, the inlaws seem desparate to unload them back. :rotfl2: Audrey is likely wearing them out ragged.

Glad you had a great trip and time with DD - thanks for sharing and glad travels went safely
Interesting perspective... or discussion point.

I don't think any of us 700+ strong are embarrassed, uncomfortable or ashamed to say we are Disney fans... Disney is top notch entertainment, and the premier example of how ever business should be run.
Completely agree :thumbsup2 Wear dis stuff all the time, only watches I own are Mickey and when something like Disney creates so many great memories why not share them
What the ...........:scared1:

That was a better pitch than Dice-K's gyroball

My dad called after he was the two of mine for 3 hours begging for help. Fortunately, my mom came home from work and saved the day.

The plan one day is to have my entire house and wardrobe in Disney stuff. So far, I have the three DVC lithographs and my pin collection.

Ok. Give it here.

Evening guys...hope everyone's having a good weekend. I've had the evening to myself, and been relaxing with chilled beverages and movies. Started with the original Clash of the Titans, followed with Spaceballs and then the Avengers.

Can't wait, tomorrow we head out and rescue the inlaws from my daughters :rotfl2: Looking forward to seeing them again.

Cut the grass yesterday and need to bail the yard today. I had not been able to cut it for a couple of weeks with all the rain we have had. It was still wet yesterday evening, but I had to get it done.
