Prayers coming your way Norm, hope everything turns out OK:goodvibes

Thanks Ron. It is 2:00 AM and we are scheduled to be discharged. 4 hours isn't long enough in ER. Blood work showed higher WBC, but nothing substantial. Dr thinks it was allergic reaction that caused the delirium and fainting. They gave her some steroids and Benadryl. I probably could have just done that at home, but I had never seen my kid faint before. And, it didn't help with younger dd saying her older sister was going to die. Thankfully, my MIL came and picked up younger one, and she is now happy because she gets a sleepover and donuts at her grandma's house.

‘Afternoon all…
and a happy Canada Day those celebrating such.

We just finished up a couple of days on a trip for my son’s college orientation. It’s been a long while since I spent any time bunked in a dorm type setting (let’s just say that it didn’t compare favorable to stayin’ at WDW). The mission itself went rather well though. We all got pretty comfortable with the campus and heard from a number of the professors and admin folks. The boy even meet up with another fell’a with a similar background and outlook and the two decided to room together. That solves at least one of the potential first semester pitfalls. Got his schedule as well and that has some 8am classes, but none in areas that trouble him so that’s two good out comes. Now we’re just waiting on the paperwork for the first official billing cycle (ouch…).

Congratulations to Max! We start visiting potential colleges this weekend for my rising Senior. The billing is the part that scares me the most.

Morning Guys. Back at the office today, hoping the next two weeks fly by.

Two weeks from today we will be on our way to the Happiest Place on Earth. I can't wait to hear "Welcome Home!"

Prayers stilled offered up. We all could use a few on a fairly regular bases.

Nice planning on your part there.

“You think you can do these things, but you can’t!”
Oh, and while you’re out there remember… “Don’t touch the Butt”

Thanks.
May the search turn up just the right place for your elder princess. The bill is certainly a point of increased anxiety. Insanely high SATs are helpful, athletics as well and especially at smaller schools and oddly enough in the “less glamorous disciplines”. My niece was offered a full ride for swimming at a very small collage this year. It’s not where she wants to go (and the institution isn’t known for what she really wants to study), but it was offered.

Just finished some great carcass now I'm enjoying a blonde.
