I'm an hour from Bowling Green and no one wants to stop and meet with me. :sad1:

But, I'm not all that sad. I wouldn't to stop and meet me either. Better to head towards WDW. :lmao:

I'll be heading to Webster and Union Counties near the end of next month. Will send you a message as it gets confirmed and closer.

20 minute meeting in the big city, 4 hours on the road. I made it worthwhile though and get a chocolate cake donut, upgraded my iphone for $1, and got my monthly bill by $10. I even managed to get the email account set up by myself once someone explained to me what UEA stands for. Major accomplishment for a ludite like me. Anyone know how I can get rid of the newstand thingy on the phone or is it like the stocks one and others you can't get rid of?

Congrats Declan, safe travels to those on the road, hope everyone's kids are feeling better, and happy for those that have returned safely from trips.

Prayers for those in the Midwest that are in the path of the storms.

I should be around, just let me know. As far as getting rid of apps, on the iPad, I press and hold down the App until there is an X in the corner. Then, press the X. You should ask someone smarter - those may be the instructions to delete your operating system.

You are correct sir! Well...almost. There are some apps, Newstand included, that you can't delete. It's all part of Apple's quest to control the universe.

Thanks for all the info on the pre purchase photo pass info guys:thumbsup2

and now

:dancer::dancer: Paid off Aug trip today :dancer::dancer: I did not get a dining plan this trip since we are going to a couple parks other them WDW, they should really give you the option of picking how many days you would like the dining plan, like they do with park tickets:confused3

Was hanging around the Toronto Airport this afternoon, and ran into this guy!!!

Had a quick lunch, and a nice get to know you face to face time.

Was a pleasure meeting you Darcy.

Great meet:thumbsup2

An actual Disney question...

For our trip in December, four of the six nights we are there are going to be nights when MK has the Christmas Party. The two days that are not party nights are also days that I happened to pick as non-park days. The problem is that I would feel like our trip would be incomplete if we didn't get to see Wishes at some point. If I were going in to MK on the non-party nights, that would be easy to do, but for a variety of reasons that is not an option.

Since our MK days are going to be days when the park is "closed" to non-party people at 7, what are my options for seeing Wishes? Enjoy the park until 7 and then goof off with no rides for a couple hours until Wishes begins? How does that even work on party nights anyway? Do they kick non-party people out? How's that enforced? One idea is to get an ADR at BOG for 6:30 or 7:00 and eat there. By the time we're done we could catch a parade and wishes following that.:confused3 That's assuming they follow the usual 8:00 and 9:00 for parade and fireworks.

Any thoughts?

Can it be done, yes, but not the ADR way, it would take a lot of effort

Not a great pic, but heres one for the festivities&

I hope to get a better version of that in four more years.

Congratulations Max:thumbsup2

Off to work...Time to make the donuts...Well I am the manager of a few departments in a hospital, so no donuts..but you all get the jist of what I am saying.

Anywho, by this time tomorrow I will be on the road on the way to Disney, so talk to everyone later!

:)

Have a Great Trip:goodvibes

Norm: I'll come meet you sometime. Less than 2 hours away.

My Blackhawks should have lost about 5 times in OT so far.

Evening

Leaving work at noon. DW just texted me that both DD'rd are not feeling better so she made appointments for them at 1. That was to be our departure time. So I'm not even home yet and am going to be behind schedule. Plus we have the weather that is coming our way.

Hope it's a minor bug and that they are feeling better already.

Hey Guys.

Made it home from Winnipeg around supper time, apparently someone thought it would be good idea for it to be raining here. Wasn't like this anywhere else I was today. Not impressed.

Had a nice lunch with Brian during my layover in Toronto.

Got some great news when I got home. DS's school sports awards were handed out this afternoon and he was the co-winner of the school's rookie of the year award. Pretty proud Dad typing this!

Big time congrats to Declan, that is quite an achievement

Telling DD 6 we are going to disney in T-5 minutes

Can't wait to hear how it goes...

Well? How'd it go?

That was very anti-climatic. My wife had this image in her head of how excited she would be so she planned out a big reveal. DD just stared at her like it was no big deal. That's my daughter, no real emotion. She did finally admit that she may be afraid of the characters. She is painfully shy but I am not worried as long as I can keep the wife from forcing her into a meet and greet.

This game is giving the ole ticker a workout. Crawford stood on his head in that period!

'Hawks win!
Playoff hockey is without a doubt the most exciting thing in sports. March Madness is good but for jump-out-of-your-seat excitement. Nothing is better than this.

Happy 6:00 am from the UK. Quickly scanned through the previous pages and saw Max's graduation picture. Congrats Rob. We were in the same place last year. Exciting time.

Another good day yesterday. Toured the town of Newport. The main drag is about a mile or so long. Nice little quiet village. They do I think have the distinction to be the only place in the world that:

Has a hotel where then Princess Victoria had an extended stay, now named...

And a bar that was previously owned by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

The Brit's sister has a couple of horses and the Pirate Princess was allowed to take one for a ride. It is a retired race horse and is "Quite spirited."

The brewery tour was also interesting. A true micro brewery and his business is doing well.

The next batch fermenting

Today we set up a tent for an overnight camping trip near where we rent a barge on Friday for a three day trip down the canals. Maybe I should mention that the campground is on the site of a local Pub.

Congrats Max! Somehow missed the graduation picture.

The big city of Lexington?

::yes::

It will be a good trip as long as everyone focuses on the important thing, family time.

Glad you are having fun. Tent=bad, Pub=good.

Morning guys

Morning David.

but, they would not make money that way. I think TiW is better than DP.

Norm: I'll come meet you sometime. Less than 2 hours away.

Thanks, we'll get together at some point.

Mine have been enough times now where it is the same. Yesterday, I bought MNSSHP tickets for our October trip. I was excited and walked in living room and told dds. They smiled, but that was about it.

Campground is the local pub? That is all that was needed to make that a great trip.
