Not to mention the Atlanta Flames, Quebec Nordiques and that the Winnipeg Jets become the Phoenix Coyotes only for the Atlanta Thrashers to then becom the Winnipeg Jets :confused3

Ah Atlanta, the city so nice they lost their team twice! Hmmm...Montreal Maroons (is that pre NHL though? )Minnesota North Stars....Oakland Seals (pre Golden seals..) I'm done I think...

Maybe will get to add Phoenix to thelist, over Bettmans dead body...:rolleyes1

Hey Dave! Great to see you on here. Best of luck to Briana down in WDW!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

How long have you had 400 Points Dave?

A pre-disney date. Sounds like a fun day.

we bought 200 in 1999 in boardwalk. 100 in 2000 in boardwalk and added 100 when they built Saratoga. don't recall the exact year off the top of my head.
I should have bought more in 1999. with price per point and yearly taxes and maint. divided the length of contracts, im about $2600 per year for 40 years.
I almost tripled my money from the first three hundred points. all have a December use year and all bought direct from dvc.
it was $56 per point when we jumped in.

thanks Dave. I'm still trying to figure out the right number of points for our family so I'm curious how many points other people have and when they bought them.

Howdy all. I have missed too much since I last checked in so i skimmed the 25 pages of this one and a few before the 250 mark on the last one.

Prayers for those injured and sick
Bacon for those with good news
Welcome new guys
Solidarity to the workers

Jim are you still going to keep the res for Tusker?

To those I missed I will catch you later.

:sad2:They are showing up against Boston at least, hard to blame them. Can we find a way to blame Ottawa somehow? :rotfl2:

I blame the Canadians every time the temperature drops below 70, so I am sure it is Ottawa's fault. What ever they did this time.

That's true. We had a cold snap last week and the high one day was 48, the weatherman come on that night and pointed out that the high the same day in Nome Alaska was 49.
It was probably the same in Canada but sadly I am not sure he could find it on the map.

DS who wants to be an Imagineer, keeps bringing up an interesting point in that Star Wars has so many different "lands" / planets what would make a good Disney theme park specific land? Tatooine, Coruscant, Endor, Kashyyyk, etc? Or, does Starwars Land end up being 3 connected SW planets keeping with a "trilogy" theme?
Since Tatooine is in 5 of the 6 films, I would use that for my template for a Star Wars Land. I have never been to HS so I don't know the layout around Star Tours. If it is spread out then you could install tunnels or arches that look like hyperspace. Then you could add Coruscant and Naboo.

While we were at WDW this weekend there were a couple of neat t-shirts. I am not sure if this one was for May the 4th, but it was one of my favorites.

Can't wait to get back down and possibly meet her. She might be running the place by that time :thumbsup2

On behalf of ALL Toronto Maple Leafs fans... I sincerely apologize for the loser with the sign outside the game Monday night.

There is always one bad apple...

An Imagineer sounds like a good job. I'm afraid neither of my dds shows any interest in that. I'm kinda thinking dancer aboard a cruise ship. Or, maybe that is my dream.

Please don't..........

Morning guys. Long day in the car ahead, thank goodness for DISDad podcasts :thumbsup2.

First stop Valparaiso, then Merriville, LaPorte, South Bend, and Elkhart :thumbsup2

Have a good one men :thumbsup2

Continued prayers for your dad Mark!

Safe travels.

Quint: You wanna drink? Drink to your leg.
Norm: I'll drink to your leg.
Quint: Okay, so we drink to our legs!

YES.

thanks Dave. I'm still trying to figure out the right number of points for our family so I'm curious how many points other people have and when they bought them.

We've settled on 175. 100 @ BWV and 75 @ BLT. Sold my other SSR contract. With clever point use, we can get two weeks in studios a year or a week in a 1 BR (or 2 BR standard BWV). We pay less than $1K in dues per year. I've considered selling the BLT points, depending on how much longer the transmission lasts in the car.

Morning guys.

:wave2: Dave...

Go LEAFS Go!!!

Good game. :thumbsup2 Nothing like playoff hockey. :thumbsup2

:sad2:They are showing up against Boston at least, hard to blame them. Can we find a way to blame Ottawa somehow? :rotfl2:

If I were you I'd blame those fans that jump on and off the bandwagon with every win and loss... ::yes:: Pretty sure I remember someone talking smack after the Leafs won game 2. :confused3 Karma's a B&^%$ sometimes. ;)

Should still be a good series. The Leafs have shown they can win in Beantown, so Friday night could go either way.
