I talked to the rotten kid tonight for a bit. she had off today. went to walmart and took a nap.lol got some laundry done.

got some good stories. I also ask some questions that I got the old, "I could tell you, but then id have to kill you" type answer. this cm thing is like a secret society that you need the hand shake for them to tell you anything.

she worked in the new fantasy land. liked main street better.lol

a few guys pm and text me about her address,cant recall who they were, I now have her address. if you want her address just pm or text me. and no, it don't have vista waaaaaya in it.

when she checked in, I filled out a card for her that they send to her after they have been there for about two weeks. she got it this morning in the mail. she was all happy.

I am really looking forward to this trip in two weeks.first thing is to see the kid! the second thing is the discounts on my meals. with all the ot she can buy us dinner. she also said she will take me into company d!!!

Yet another reason to be jealous of Dave. When I grow up I wanna be you. What's company d?

I have 2 weeks until I am at WDW. <sigh> We actually start the drive down on Thursday June 13th and spend a few days in GA.

Of course I now have a cold of some sort, and am coughing my head off and spitting up yellow crud. Go figure. <sigh>

I hope I feel better by next week.

Just had to clear the building for a fire alarm.

We have some roofers working on one section and it seems that the smoke from the tar built up enough to set off the alarms. Glad that’s all it was, but it was nice to see that everyone followed the drill plan and cleared the building quickly. Even better to see that the town’s fire brigade got down here in one quick hurry. Nice work on their part, very nice work indeed.

Note to self though… next time that alarm goes off, grab the car keys.
It just might be for real.

I won't even tell you what popped into my head. Let's just say I don;t like the guy.

7:45 AM, raining, at the AC is on. That was a short Spring to the heat of summer. Still, way better than the cold. Both dds have been in basketball camp this week with the high school coach and her players. I snuck in to watch a few minutes of it yesterday, and they both really like it. My younger dd is almost the same height as my oldest while being 2.5 years younger. So, she was playing with her age group, towers over many, pushes like crazy, and I had flashes of Shaq. I taught her how to handle the ball and shoot. I think we will work on low post moves this summer.

Almost the same situation here. My DD10 is 5'2" and 127 lb. The post is her spot. She has really gotten better this spring playing on an AAU (with 12 year olds) team. Layups with both hands and good shooting form. We need to work on her aggressiveness some. Maybe they can play in college together.

She dribbles well and is an excellent passer.

How is she from the foul line?

Very well for her age. We taught her the off square way to shoot that a lot of college players use now. Seems to make it easier for her to reach the hoop and keeps the ball on line.

It was the lack of the keys that forced me to have to go back in.

We usually head out for coffee when the alarm goes off. It usually takes at least a half hour to get it resolved.

Been sequestered the past couple of days with offsite meetings though did get to see my Blackhawks complete the comeback on Detroit despite that horrific no goal call at the end of regulation the other night.

Happy Friday / weekend to all as I have a 3 day work week next week as we head down next Thursday for a couple of days at MK / BLT and then hit the Fantasy for a 7 night western caribbean - cannot get here fast enough.

Like I said been a couple of days and just too much to catch up so thanks, prayers to those that need 'em, congrats to all on the great kids stuff, idiott bringing gun to AK like that, congrats to the Heat fans but let's go Pacers.

start practicing the phone interview. smile,smile,smile. the numbers are all over but from what I have read, any where from 40,000 to 60,000 apply and about 4-5,000 get in.
you have to get by the application and on line interview before you get to the phone interview.

you fill out a form where they ask you for each job what your interest level is for that job.

if you get in, they tell you what your role is. you could have a very low interest in housekeeping but if you are offered housekeeping, that's what you get. they wont change your role. if you don't accept the role, again, from what I have read, its hard to get back in again.

brianas first choice was quick serve food and that's what she got but there are over 300 locations. you don't know your location till after you pay your fees, take the kid there and they check in. briana just got lucky she got what she wanted. she is very grateful she got what she did.
