Hi guys, at work, will post a couple pics tonight, not as bad as it could have been.

Sales though? We cleared $203K yesterday alone. That is ridiculous.

Thanks again guys for all the thoughts and prayers and pixie dust. Let the de-stressing begin

That is one busy day!

Have a great day Brent.

Thanks for the well wishes for our work on the farm and for DS to heal.

We hoped to finish planting corn yesterday, but unfortunately we had a pop up shower that dropped .25" rain in that area on Wednesday night. We got some ground worked and some more soybeans planted yesterday, and then I worked the corn ground last night until about 1 am so that it would be ready for Dad to plant it this morning. It didn't rain anymore last night, so I think it should be done by around noon if all goes well. It will be a little less stressful after that, with 2 tractors working ground for the bean planter. We got enough done yesterday to keep both planters rolling today, so I'm back at my other job for today. I like getting that paycheck too, so I don't want them to figure out that they can get by without me here. :rotfl2:

It’s an interesting day in our miniscule world down here.

There’s been one of those major shifts in reasoning that occurs within those households blessed with young’ens. Today is the day that all arguments officially (and legally) move away from the notion of “Because I said so…”, and land squarely in the realm of “Hay, my house, my rules; don’t like it… well then there’s the door”. I am no longer the legal guardian of anyone other then myself (and maybe the cat… I was never in charge of DW and that’s a good thing).

According to the laws of the land my son became and adult today; responsible for his own actions, and due the same benefits and/or constraints that befall all the rest of us (with the exception of having a beer, which in my opinion is wrong, unfair and improper… either you are an adult or you aren’t… but I digress).

Anyway… I’d like to publically wish my son a happy 18th Birthday.

:bday:

party:

May god have mercy on his sole.
:rotfl2:
What a milestone...

Happy Birthday Max!!!

Glad to hear he'll be ok. Won't be too long before you can strap some cans to his feet, sit him up on a phonebook, and let him start working the field. :lmao:
We actually have a thing that my dad welded when I was probably about 5 or 6 years old that would bolt onto the clutch so that I could reach it. I'm sure it is still laying around the shop somewhere. :rolleyes1

STRIKE AVERTED !!!!!

wonder if I should call in sick tomorrow? :lmao:
Congratulations!!! I know that has been stressful for you, so I'm glad to hear that they got it worked out!

Home from 5th grade graduation. So sad to watch so many adults act as children as they believe what their kid accomplishes in 5th grade will define their lives forever. Only two more years before I'm done with this bunch, but I know I'll get more of it as they age.

On a funny note, DW said that she wanted to thank me tonight. I said what for? She said for not staring at the woman's b00bs as she was completely bent over and walking her three year old out the door. The woman was wearing a black tank top, and I had a great view. Of course, I said, how did you notice? She said because she watched her dad, who was sitting right next to me, completely turn his head and watch her as she walked towards us, and after she passed, he turned his head to watch the rear, and smiled.

No, I don't have pictures. I think that would have resulted in an entirely different conversation tonight. :lmao:
Wait a minute...

You didn't look???????????? :crazy2: :faint:

Good Morning!

um... that's all I have for right now.

Hope you all enjoy your Friday!

hmmm... I just noticed one of my words was corrected for me. Anti-Zerfonics software?

Attn NASCAR fans. I hear there is race on Saturday in char. Nc. I am planning to hit that area around noon on Saturday. Can anyone tell me what time do all the Rusted Plymouth k cars start blocking up i95? The race is at 7:30 but till they get ma, the keg and there Harry gant tee shirts together stop at the quick mart for there chewin tabaci , I'm thinking I may hit some traffic? Any ideas?

Nothing to worry about at all. If you stay on I-95, you won’t even see the race traffic.

Charlotte is at the junction of I-85 & I-77.
You’d have to go better then a 100 miles out of your way to even get close.

:drive:

And there was much rejoicing!

That’s some crazy sales.
Nothing get booze moving through the economy quite as efficiently as the threat of prohibition (in whatever form it takes).

As for the support…
That’s what ya’ do.

My money's on, he looked, but didn't turn his head, how else would Norm know what she was wearing?

Congrats Brent! Glad this has been lifted from your stresses.

I only said that because my relatives are from central IL and I have some cousins who farm. I know they started operating equipment quite young. I was astonished when I was out of work 9 years ago and they offered to let me come down and run the combine for a few weeks in the spring to earn some extra cash. The closest I've ever been to a piece of equipment like that is driving down the interstate. :scared1:

Oh he looked alright. His DW was obviously paying too close attention to the FIL so he got off free.

Why is this going through my head "I wear my sunglasses at night..."

Morning guys. Headed out for a weekend of golf after work today... Pretty excited...;)

Happy to hear the strike was averted Brent! :cool1:

Oakley M Frames with Black Ice Polarized Lenses are perfect for such activities.:cool2:

:rolleyes1

Michael, when you change jobs, will you be with the same agency?

Yes....but I'll be working with an Agency I used to work for....

Reminds me of a movie line...

"Me? I'm Dishonest. And you can always count on a Dishonest man to be Dishonest. Honestly."

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'll be doing something very very different than I'm doing now.
