Good morning gentlemen,

After our WDW trip last month, the DW & I have become completely nuts about WDW! We did a 4 day/3 night at CBR w/ MYW plus Dining. I like the pre-paid dining....one less thing to have to deal with/save for from the time ressies are made until getting there. Although we'd love to be there everyday, we've decided it to be best to pay off some debt over the next year so perhaps we can make it down a couple times a year after this. We are definitely going to back down over Spring Break 2014 (3/31-4/4), but flip-flopping on where to stay. I think it'll be possible (depending on tax refund) to stay at BC, which appears to be the good location for easily getting to mutiple parks, pools, etc.. Recently, I stumbled onto the DVC board here & saw where people had their property available to rent. Have any of you guys:

A) Stayed at BC?
B) Used a DVC by renting from someone, and if so was it cheaper than renting directly thru WDW Travel?
C) Since I am relatively new to the WDW lifestyle (yes, it is a lifestyle!), can you buy the dining plan with park tickets, or do you have to book a room thru WDW travel to get the dining plans?

There are several of us dads who are DVC members and will rent points to other dads. There are the rent/trade boards, and companies. We own at BW, right across from BC, and that is a great area. Regardless of who you rent DVC points from, you can still purchase the dining plan. I think it has to be paid in full before you arrive, but am not sure if you or the owner calls to add it. We purchase tickets when we arrive. Some use Undercover Tourist/Mousesaver link for tickets.

Just popping in to say........thank Jebus only two hours to go....

Some people are already into panic-shopping mode.
Can't help but notice though the first two days we'd be "on strike" they increased everyone's hours.... Something is fishy.

Happy Saturday Guys.

Interesting game last night. Never saw so many outright grabs instead of at least trying for the ball. Had to laugh when Thibodeu called out James for a flop. Pot, meet kettle. After all, on one play Belinlli flopped three times trying to get a call against James until he was called for a foul. Lots of fun watching though. Game 4 is going to be interesting.

Realized today I am 9 days away from the World and 29 days until we hop across the pond to visit my UK friend and his family. Excitement is brewing.

It's not fun to watch. Granted, I don't the want matador defense that is played in the All Star Games, but the flopping, grabbing, and whining just needs to stop.

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. DD has her antibiotic and is on the road to recovery.

Today was the type of day that makes me appreciate life in civilization. When I worked in The Philippines, if I accomplished one thing, it was a good day. Today I accomplished two things!

DD wasn't going to make it through the weekend without some major suffering so we made the 2 hour drive up to the big city to visit urgent care. I signed in there at 1:20, at 3:00 we finally made it to the exam room, and at 4:05 we saw the MD for less less than 3 minutes and were out the door. Thankfully that was all it took. She walked in, I told her what was wrong, and what was needed for treatment, she checked, agreed, and wrote the Rx. I should have been an MD but I don't like sick people. Task 1 completed.

As long as we were there we took SWMBO out for an early Mother's Day meal at Cracker Barrel. Task 2 completed.

Another 2 hour drive back and 1/2 my weekend is gone. At least we have access to good medical care even though it is hours away. There are people in the world that don't even have that. It could have been worse. SWMBO and DS went to 1/2-price books and killed the time while we were at urgent care so they didn't need entertaining, and DD got to watch McHale's Navy and Gidget while waiting.

I just hope tomorrow is a peaceful day.

Posted on the brag wall, but figured I'd post here as well.

DS got his first start today for his AAU baseball team. 7 inning complete game, 3K, 1BB, 4 hits, 1ER. First win of the season, winning 8-1. Team is now 1-16 so hoping this leads to more starts.

Wasn't there too long, my buikding stress was evident to all, helped speed it along. We'll know Thursday night/Friday morning.... Besides, my sister/BIL really upset my parents again, and untill this stuff blows over, I have NO tolerance for stupidity. Dad needed something out of his garage, and cannot open it up by himself (The garage is falling apart, will be replaced in the fall) so we went back to their place and st around for an hour or so, caught some of the Penguins/Islanders, and they filled us in.

For those who asked we will be down 8/21-8/28 for our annual Beach Club Bash.

We are there the exact same dates. Will have to plan a meet up! We fly in late morning on the 21st, fly out late evening on the 28th.

Rough Saturday already. DD was up in the middle of the night with an ear infection. Now we need to decide whether to visit the local quack who thinks everything is a respiratory infection that needs a vitamin shot, travel to the urgent care in the big city, or send SWMBO and her back north to our home doctors for a visit on Monday. No good options.

Still better than going to Chuck E Cheese though.

Hope DD feels better soon. I'd bring her wherever the best shot at good medical help is!
