Day 2 of the long weekend. Having some coffee and listening to DTunes!

I believe that would be a class E driver's license, right? :)

:rotfl:

You definitely do not want to have a run in with one of these creatures. A white tail buck will run around 200 lbs (but not so much in kilograms for our Canadian Dads, eh). A bull elk will easily run 600 lbs (still a bunch of kilograms) The winner unless you are driving a coal truck would be the elk everytime. With a coal truck you would call it a draw with both losing.

Afternoon....chilling out here with DW. We are offically kid-free till next Sunday! DW's parents took them home with them after church for a week in Sarnia. :cool1:

Enjoying our long weekend now, got ice cold cider in the fridge, we did a run to the Bulk Barn (bulk food place, great for munchies) and supermarket for sncks and such, and a pile of movies to be watched. :thumbsup2

It would have been a good day for DS to be in town. He could have learned a lot from me, not how to do things but how not to. Finally got around to working the bees again and did just about everything wrong. If my kids pay attention to what I do and don't do it, they should do fine in life.

Sounds like a relaxing week ahead of you. Enjoy the break.
Do they sell poutine in bulk?

Enjoy the break! Do you have some time off?

Evening guys. Spent a beautiful day on the lake, and now we're watching a massive storm front come down the lake towards us. Gotta love New England weather. :thumbsup2

Mmmm...bulk poutine....

No, mostly dry goods/spices/candy. Its nice to get a few small bags of things to try out, rather then pay large amounts for things you might not like.

Enjoy the break! Do you have some time off?

Today and tomorrow, then DW works 4 days, I have 4 evening shifts so we won't see each other much. Saturday starts my staycation, DW is watching my brother's kids Saturday night so they can go see Bruno Mars in Toronto, I'll just flake off here, Sunday we go to Sarnia to get the girls and will stay a couple of days to visit ourselves.

Very much enjoying the quiet today though :thumbsup2

I know a guy thru work that has an office over there somewhere. He offered to try to get the license/lottery and go hunting elk one year. I may try for it one year.

Kid freedom. Enjoy.

Well, we learn through our mistakes as well. Good luck with the bees.

Sounds like a plan. I've got to take older dd to orthodontist and then it is back home for a sick day.
