Morning...

Good morning guys! I have my sales forecast in front of our executive team today. Prayers for a smooth meeting are appreciated. I chose the first time slot, so I kick the show off at 8am.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

On that note, woke with a nice little headache, so going to add some tylenol to my meds and have a nap before work.

Been running around like crazy for a few days and have no hope of catching up. My boys and I got to go to Merion to see the practice round for the US Open yesterday. It was drenched with rain, so we didn't see a lot of golfers out, but getting the chance to walk the course was pretty cool.

Oh, and 1 week. :cool1:

Good Morning all.

One more day closer to vacation. Only two more days of work then a bunch of time off.

Just finished up payroll for my staff, and I have two externs coming in today to work in my department for a JVS program. I have to give one of my supervisors the last few days off, since I am going to be gone for the next two weeks. :cool1:

So I am tying up loose ends, and making sure all my employees know to behave for the next two weeks. Otherwise, I am not going to be happy with them when I get back.

Also, trying to get everything ready with the van and the kids. We completed the repairs yesterday(well paying for them) and cleaned out the van. That took longer than it should have. :scared:

The snacks for the trip have been purchased, and the items to keep the kids busy have also been taken care of. I just have to go out today and get two of those power splitters for the van. We have way too many electrical devices going on in this van for the trip..

2 DVD players
3 DS's
3 Ipads

My kids are a little spoiled with the electronics, but that's what happens when Dad is technologically inclined.

So we all should be on the beach by Friday. :beach:

Also, if anyone wants to try to do a meet-up next week at one of the parks, shoot me a PM, and I will send you where I am going to be when and see if we are going to be close to one another. :)

I am staying in Windsor Hills, so if you are staying offsite and are there, that is even cooler.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and ideas. And I promise no pictures of my underwear...well...maybe one... :cool2:

Good luck and have fun! BTW, do you have a name we can call you? RMColosimo, is to long to type and calling you New Guy is just rude!

Sorry. Some call me Mick. :)

I thought I told you all my name, but I guess I did not.

My real name is Robert Michael Colosimo, so that's where I get my RMColosimo nickname from. And Mick is my in life nickname, since my father was also a Robert and he did not want to call me Jr, or some such variation on that.

So just call me Mick. :)

Good Morning Guys!

Got an email from SW this morning that they are running a new sale. Need to book by Thursday. It was based on the distance of your flights. Rebooked our flights for the August trip again, same flights, and saved another $108.:cool1::cool1::cool1: That gets the cost of our flights to under $200 each round trip. This is about what we paid to go about 4 years ago. Back to the future! Of course I used points to book so I get my points back and not actually $$, but every little bit helps, especially since I am hoping for a good bounce back deal when we are there. I may be able to convince the supreme ruler that we have the extra points towards flights and the discount to make it a no brainer. Take a look and see if you can save some $$.

Yes, although the camper is new to us and we have not had a chance to try it out yet. We took it out over memorial day up to Door county and our high was 63. All is set for us to leave at 1:00 pm tomorrow. I'm figuring 20-21 hours total with the camper. that gets us in about noon on Friday. :cool1::cool1:

So do you camp at the wilderness lodge area?

Go bruins.

?? Given up on our home team already? Not that I'm complaining. Nice to have 2 of the original 6 in there. Should be a good series.

OK I got 54 days till WDW, Do they still offer a discount if you pre purchase the Photopass plus:confused3

Yup. All you need is 14 days to pre purchase. I ordered our before I had the flights booked. Does that make me a bad person?

Hope it went well!

Working on our sales forecasts now for the coming year. They were due a couple weeks ago, but a few customers have decided to make life difficult.

Feel better Brent! Heading out on a 5 1/2 hour drive this afternoon to NY. Hope the rain slows down.

It's awesome to walk the courses before the pro's play. I am a member at a LPGA/Senior certified course. It's fun playing, but man is it lllooooooonnnnngggggg.:lmao::lmao:

Hey Mick,
Hope that your van issues are done. I have also been sinking money into my truck. New tires were one of the biggest. I hope that the rest of your preparations are uneventful.
We are down to the wire, I am collecting the camper tonight and all should be ready so all I have to do tomorrow is hook up and go.

Yes we are staying in the older part of Ft. Wilderness. This is our first time down with a camper, although we have driven many times before.
I used to drive for a living, up to a 30 ft strait truck so driving with the camper is easy although once I am hooked up I am still 41 ft long.

Yep picked up the van last night, and it is running like a champ. The brakes are very nice now as well.
Apparently minivans (Ours is a Town and Country) have a thing my mechanic called 'morning sickness' where the power steering will take a little while to turn on(seconds not minutes in our case). Our mechanic said unless it get's worse don't worry about it. And since it only happens when it is cold, and I parked on the top of the parking deck at work, I am not worried about it this trip.

Our tires are all in good shape, and we just cleaned the van, and gave it a lemony scent. :)

Hope everything works great with your truck and camper! :)

Wow. Cool. I drove a box truck one summer when I worked at Sea World Ohio when I was in College. :)

I always thought camping would be cool at Disney, but I don't have a truck, or a camper, so it would mean staying in tents, and I am not sure that would be much of a vacation to me. Roughing it to me, usually means not having free wifi.

We are the same way. While we would love to give camping at Disney a try (especially around christmas time), our idea of roughing it is a 3 star hotel.:rotfl2::lmao: We do vacation with friends at their camp in Maine that has no running water, A/C, heat or bathrooms. They usually rent a port-o-jon and place it out back.

A camper with A/C would be a step up.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Egads! We actually own a few acres in Maine, way up north. My mother is from there, and got the property when her mother passed away.(Called Houlton and/or Hodgton, if you want to look it up)

I spent a ton of summers up in Maine, and it is awesome. I would love to retire up in Maine, but to spend even a night with no running water, A/C, heat or bathrooms. Umm... Not only would I not find that fun, but my wife and daughters(I have three daughters) would no longer talk to me.

Agreed. I remember going up to see the Reds play with some friends, and we would camp in Big Bone Lick KY park to save money (tents). Then, DW and I did some primitive camping in the beginning, which means a tent and no water/electric hookups. Now, I couldn't imagine doing that - way too old.

On that note, woke with a nice little headache, so going to add some tylenol to my meds and have a nap before work.

Or, you could have started the day with some rum. Didn't you post that on FB? Drinking rum in the AM doesn't make you an alcoholic, it makes you a pirate.

Still cool to walk the course.

I guess you don't drive thru. Do you just sleep at a rest stop? Or, does DW make you find a hookup somewhere? I'm trying to convince DW that we can retire in the camper, and if we must, buy a small condo. Maybe then we can get rid of all the stuff we have in the house.

... once I am hooked up I am still 41 ft long.

That is what all the ladies say. :lmao:
