Anybody have 384 points at BLT for next year that they're not using???!?!

Anyone??

Not always. Only shirts that don't say "TEAM CRASH" on the back. :thumbsup2

True. The only reason that one flew was because it was running related.

Feel bad for the people on the Magic. They are currently docked in Key West and it is ugly down there. Well, I don't feel that bad. They could always make a dash to Sloppy Joe's or one of the other libation spots.

UPDATE:
Maybe a mad dash would not be a good idea. Local news tweeted this pic of KW after the rains stopped. Serious flooding.

Afternoon guys!

Nice pic buda-something-or-other-dvcr (sorry, takes me a while to learn the new guys' names!)

Andy, great shot from the "office"

Mark, something-witty-about-golf.

Blah, blah, blah

Hope all is well!

Nice effort on my part, huh? :confused3

Yeah, I've been following the rumours closely. Been sitting back from any planning till DW could figure out the finances a little better, and things look a little clearer now that some money was "found". Now I just need the re-assurances that we won;t go on strike, things'll be fine. Was a little bummed about the loss of free dining, it means now we are doing the POP again, paying for the dining plan (still worth it to us, IMO). If they release the RO discount next week, we'll go book at the CAA Thursday or Friday night. Our ADRs are set, so is the basic itinerary.

I've heard it will be fairly busy, I think there is a Martial Arts comp going on at WWoS and a Classic Car Convention/Show over at Coranado Springs on the Labour Day weekend. If everyone changes and goes in September, won't hurt me any. :rotfl2:

The other thing I've cynically waiting for is a re-hab closure schedual for that timeframe. Right now, virtually everything is running, and that seems off to me. (No word on when Fairytale Hall is set to open, Main Street Starbucks should be open by then) Hopefully the list will be small. Audrey should be tall enough for a LOT of the "big rides" this year, and she is HYPED about it. She missed Star Tours last time by half an inch.

If they offer a RO, we may go with CR instead of POR and skip the meal plan. We have a couple of days that we were going to Discovery Cove and SeaWorld so it may make more sense to go with the RO anyway. I do hope they offer it for our time.

Couldn't find any rehab schedules either. I am assuming that means everything will be open. It's pretty close to change and announce closures now. As long as Splash and RnR are open we are good. Those are the two we missed last time as they were down every time we tried to ride. I heard Starbucks and Fairytale Hall were both July openings. Alexandra is still a little sketchy on the larger rides, but we'll talk her into it.

Good luck averting the strike. That would really stink. Finances are usually not a problem for our vacation. I get a June bonus here (fingers, toes and everything else crossed including my eyes) and we save $$ every paycheck so we can go away. It's usually a matter of local vs. Disney/elsewhere depending on what is in the account when we plan. If there is not enough for Disney, we skip it and go the next year.

Good morning!

Finally... it is that time of year again. Last year, DD was born on April 27 at 5:20pm. Dad had just finished planting corn around that same time. Here it is, one year later, and we're just getting started on May 1. I was out working until 10:30, but it was a beautiful night. A view from my "office."

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I dunno. You're probably doing work during the day.

As near as I can tell, the 2-iron is great for hitting anything except a golf ball.

The secret to hitting a 2 iron is to close your eyes :lmao:

That's what I've been doing wrong. And, I thought I had drank too much beer.

I always liked the room discount as opposed To DP. Good luck.

Too bad. I would have bought popcorn and snuck in bourbon for you.

For the gas money to get to you and back, I may be able to buy a few bottles of good bourbon. Somehow, I'll try to manage.

Looking for a Grand villa? Wish I had the extra to rent you.

To the best of my knowledge, a 1 or 2 iron have only hit the intended target when swung by a jealous wife - just ask Tiger Woods.

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

And, as a reminder, remember how good looking she was? What an idiot.

Let's hope Doc tries harder at work.

300 miles and a 13 hour day yesterday and about the same on tap for today so further attempts at keeping up to date will have to wait.

Those make for some long days.

Great window office view.

Yes. Sounds like it would be fun to get them together near water sometime. DD does swim team for the summer at the country club. I get to go to the golf range while she practices 3 days a week and has meets on the weekends.
:

Mine stopped doing the team because she didn't like the meets, which that whole non-competitive thing is so confusing to me. She is now just in dance during the year.

I was going to make an effort, but thought Doc summed it up nicely.

Prayers for those in need, praise for those deserving, bacon for all.

Lollygagers

Skip: You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you?....Larry!

Larry: Lollygaggers!

Skip: Lollygaggers.

I feel like Herb Brooks in Miracle. I Want You to be a Poster!

Just kidding guys. Stuck inside all day and am getting a little stir crazy.

Finally got pics going through Photobucket and thought I would share the family in true DISdad style. I caught all kinds of hell, especially from DD, for us wearing the same Christmas sweatshirt. We surprised the kids with a WDW christmas trip in 2011. We surprised them Christmas morning and headed out a day later staying through New Years. Despite the grief I caught, we have tons of great holiday pics with us in these shirts.

Great looking family you got there Mike.

We did matching family shirts in 2010... But our kids were 6 and 8 then. I don't know if they were teens that they'd still cooperate.

Good job... :thumbsup2
