Some days work ain't so bad.

Other days, you have to spend 20 minutes showing your boss how to attach an Excel file to an e-mail. :faint:

I still can't figure out why the powers that be seem to think he needs a computer in his office. He certainly doesn't use it to do any "work."

This is no joking matter. My DW says her doc told her to keep it closed due to construction. :(

Looks like you need a new doctor. Or general contractor. Whatever. Sometimes it's hard to keep my metaphors straight.

I think we need to get a petition going to change the name of hump day....it seems everything other than that is going on this day! :lmao:

The committee has tabled the request until the garage is cleaned out.

I got the biggies for our trip.
BBB at 8:30 and CRT at 10. Its going to cut down on touring for day 1 but I figure its a great way to kick off Disney and we are planning MNSSHP and another day at MK so its not a big deal. Plus crowds should be manageable in mid October.

Great gets. It will be a special day. Are you doing the whole thing (dress, shoes, pictures) or just hair and nails? If you do the dress and shoes, bring something for her to change into later in the day. Wearing that stuff (or dad carrying her around wearing that stuff) doesn't feel good. Seen lots of whiny kids.

Morning Dads. No energy today because of large doses of benadryl. Took several bee stings to the head yesterday working my bees when my veil slipped. I can now say that a sting to the lip is more painful than an ear or eyebrow..

You all did get worse storms than us. Sorry to hear about the bee sting - the ear one was painful enough for me - I'll take your word for it. At least you ave a good excuse to be high on drugs during the work day.

:cool1: 4 day weekends are awesome! I used to work a weekend shift Fri-Sun - 12 hours each, get the other 4 hours comp'd and then have a 4 day weekend. This happened right about the time Emma was born. Didn't get to see her for 3 days... but then had 4 days with her. Some of the best days, ever. Sigh... 5 day work weeks suck. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yes, missing them is the drawback, but the reward sure is great. It is probably one of the few reasons I haven't left for a new job yet.

Well well well, you guys have been chatty today... Guess hump day will do that to you huh???:confused3

Need some advice. For reasons that are unfathomable to me, DD7 says she might like to try a vacation somewhere besides WDW. Being the good father that I am I first checked her temperature and then made sure she hadn't accidentally got into my liquor cabinet. Neither of those things seem to be out of order so I told her I would take it under consideration. She mentioned maybe a beach trip. What can anyone tell me about Myrtle Beach in June? I've never been but might look into it. Of course I would bring my clubs along if we decide to go there. Any resorts you could recommend? With DW being pregnant she doesn't want to go in the ocean so it would have to be someplace with a good pool. I'm not sure about this but should probably keep an open mind. Should I consider someplace else on the coast?

We plan on getting those high end princess nightgowns for her to change into when it gets too hot.

Did you check for head trauma too?

There was a lot of posting because there wasn't a lot of humping.

Well, I would recommend Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. Hotel inland with beach resort with your own vehicle or shuttle. We really enjoyed it. But, we are DVC and I have not stayed in any other resorts in that area. Good luck.
