Can I be a member of the fabulous club if I am still about 4 weeks away from being a dad to a son who will love Disney or move out at the age of 5?

Wow, did someone start up a membership drive and forget to tell us?

I've been a huge Disney fan all my life. As a kid, my dad would load us up in Memphis and head down to WDW once every three years or so. One year we went twice in less than 12 months. I thought I was the luckiest kid in the world that year. I remember to ABCDE tickets, River Country, the light parade on the water, staying in a trailer ("cabin") at Fort Wilderness, HoopDeDo, and watching Mary Poppins at the Contemporary for night time entertainment.

My wife and I went to WDW on our honeymoon 15 years ago and we've been back four times since. We have a family condo at Bonnet Creek and enjoy going there as often as our schedules permit with our three kids.

As the ID suggests, I'm a big UT Vols fan and am roughing it living in Bamaland.
Welcome to the club!

Welcome to the club and get as much sleep as you can for the next 4 weeks. :thumbsup2 :lmao:

:wave2:

Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend. I just sat through a defensive driving course, which was basically 3 hours of "don't text while driving" repeated over and over.

Why did you have to take defensive driving? Too much texting while driving? :confused3

Thank you!

Welcome to the clubhouse. You guys already have your numbers. Norm will be along to explain the dues.

And the basball season has begun in Cincinnati! Today should be a holiday.

What? You mean you can't do that?

I only took it because it saves me about $50-$60 off my car insurance.
Oh... well, that's good.:thumbsup2 I thought maybe there was an interesting story behind it though. :rotfl2::lmao:

It is a holiday in Cincinnati. Never been for opening day, but several friends say it is packed.

Seriously guys! All the trip talk is making me antsy. I'm still trying to convince DW that we should go in August before the baby comes this fall. Coming off the trip in January without a plan for the next trip has made these past 3 months drag on. Seeing as I haven't scheduled any of my vacation days for the year so far is driving me crazy!:

Disney while pregnant in the hottest month? If you pull that off, go buy a lottery ticket quickly.

I wish we lived closer too. It is about an hour and 45 mins one way to get there. Coming home sucked because i was tired and had a headache from the drunk Oklahoma ---holes i got stuck next to. We got home about 1am and then the easter bunny had to visit yet. :faint:

Makes for a long day, but worth it to see a team like OKC. How was the game?

Welcome. Dues are payable in Dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. Just sent them all to me and I will distribute them. DW and I did our honeymoon there 13 years ago. We are DVC and enjoy the multiple trips.

Welcome. Dues are payable in Dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. You get the deal. You don't have to wait 4 weeks - you are a dad now. Have any trips planned for the young en yet?

So, are we supposed to text and drive?

This is our first Spring Break in three years at home. We did Smokies, Boardwalk, and Hilton Head. So, definitely suffering from Disney withdrawal in cancelling this trip. Had a nice first day at the Evansville zoo with the dds. Walked around the mall and had some Auntie Anne pretzels. Tomorrow is a sleepover with dd's friend, her reward for all As last quarter. I think I'm raising the requirement to all 100s before the next sleepover. It looks like we may try Opry Mills Mall on Thursday - Rainforest Cafe, DW spend a lot of $, and meet up with Philip.

Spent a Day at MK - HOLY CROWDED! 11's on the crowd calendar. They were at a Phase 3 shutdown at MK the day we were there. Forced me to cancel my ADR at 'Ohana because I wouldn't be let back in if we left the park!

Had a Solo EPCOT Day - HOLY CROWDED!! Did a few things I've never done before...Explored Mexico Pavilion - Saw the Voices of Liberty and the American Adventure Show.....Saw O'Canada. - O Why?!? (darn you Brian) - Rode Journey into Imagination (it was the only ride that was a walk-on). Waited 20 minutes in line for Spaceship Earth! Saw the food booths - enjoyed the food from the food booths! :thumbsup2.

It is difficult being home for Spring Break, but after seeing those wait times, I am glad I did.

Things are ok here, balmy 60 degrees and somewhat blue sky. Mi familia is on vacation as well, back up in southern WV for a few days.Thursday and Friday we are headed to Paris Island SC to watch a friends son graduate from USMC boot camp.

Nice enough for a vacation.

We will be going October 14 through 26th. We'll be at AoA Cars from the 14th to the 19th. Then at the time share from the 19th to the 26th. We're looking at one of the Marriott properties. We're planning ADRs at Chef Mickey's the night we arrive, CRT and Hollywood and Vine. Can't wait. I'm off to update my signature. :dance3:

We will miss you by a few days. Still, good luck in planning.

Hope everyone had a Great day, I get to work early tomorrow and when I get home it's off to the huge Easter Monday Gift Auction:thumbsup2, I hope for some serious winning on my table, you either win or you do not win there is no try:yoda:

Win me any lobsters? :lmao:

And it's opening day for the Pittsburgh Pirates. My buddy got something like 30 tickets for friends but I couldn't pull it off due to some work commitments today. The upside is that it's cold and rainy. So I won;t have to endure that!
:

Opening day would be fun. Hanging the rain may not be as much. I would like to go to a Reds game for opening day one year.

I'm Baaacckkk!

In case you noticed....I'm back...if you didn't notice I was gone, just proceed on with your Monday. :rotfl2:

Quick Trip Report:

Weather at the beach - sucked. Cold Windy with a little rain. (thanks Brian :thumbsup2)

I'd like to say it's glad to be back, but it isn't. Mondays suck!

Prayers to those that need them....Welcome! To all the new members.

My plan worked out splendidly... :rotfl2:

What's wrong with O Canada? I love that show... I am the guy in there that cheers loudly every time I see Joe Carter's home run...

Did you see Patrick in UK?

Some zoo pictures. The zoo was fairly empty, so we got some close up time with the animals.

Turtles. "dad, what are those turtles doing?". Trying to escape.

I figured we'd miss you with the new plan but it has the kids only missing one week of school and we get really low crowds the whole time. Plus we will be there over our 10th anniversary.

Howdy guys hope all is well, I noticed today we are approaching the 180 day mark till our Disney trip and its weird not worrying about ADRs since its Disneyland and still have 120 days before making any reservations. Hope I haven't missed to much, prayers to those who need them.
