‘Morning all…
Only half a day of suffering ahead of me; the afternoon will be spent away from work. DW is celebrating a birthday today so that’s a good thing, but…
It’s one of those that ends in a zero, aaaaaaannnnnnd that’s a bad thing.

Happy birthday to DW!

Oh, and we officially booked a late June trip back to The World :woohoo:

There you go. That ought to overcome any negativity! :cool1:

Is that the one that I saw on the news this morning where one of the players climbed up in a tree to hit his golf ball out?

::yes:: I think I could have given him some pointers on how to hit that shot! :thumbsup2

Morning guys! I spent a good deal of the weekend watching basketball. DW and the older DD were out of town for a dance convention all weekend. Got to spend Friday night with just DD2 and that was nice. Then on Saturday my mom came and picked her up and my dad and I finished off a project that we started 2 years ago. :headache: Spent yesterday by starting off with watching Argo (very good movie!), doing some cleaning, then grilled up some steaks before the game I was waiting for all weekend.

My Illini put forth a strong effort and I was proud of how they played. Would have like to have seen how the game would have turned out had the refs not blown an out of bounds call with a minute left. It was a highly entertaining game though and I was surprisingly satisfied after that one rather than depressed. I like this new coach we have.

Work looks like it will be a bear this week as its the end of the quarter and I have more barges to ship than days left and the weather is not cooperating to start the week. Not looking like I'll get the short week I was hoping for.

Another March 25th Birthday.
A big ol’ HBD to you boy and good luck on the test.

Welcome to the teen years.
Time start really racing from here on.
It’ll just make your head spin.

Texas Roadhouse.

Happy birthday to your DS.

Happy Birthday to DS!

Yeah, I'm trying to find someone to take the cold weather from us too. I've had more then enough.

Thanks guys, I'll show him the well wishes when he gets home from school today. First thing this morning, 5:30AM, his first words were no one has said HB yet. I explained the sun wasn't even up so not to expect much until the caffeine takes effect.

 What are we doing to our kids!

:lmao::lmao:

How's the snow situation out east?

Haven't seen anyone trying to sneak in. I have a friend that works in border services, I'll give him a heads up to watch out for Americans snaeking up here to avoid the spring snowstorms.

Wow, that's crazy. Is that normal for this time of the year?

Has anyone been to the Flower and Garden show at EPCOT? Thinking of heading over later this week but I need to convince FIL to go. He does like to garden so I have that to build on.

Well of course. It takes 5 minutes for the next empty theater to revolve around. :rolleyes1

The one that got my attention was the Teacups. 35 minutes for a 35 second ride. No thanks.

That's a lot of waiting...

Thursday was our 14th anniversary. Yaay us!

I also picked up some tickets for DD's 11'th Birthday to go see Wizard Of Oz.

Happy Anniversary and an early Happy Birthday to your DD.

Good morning Dads. DS birthday today (I now have a teenager in our house and feel old) and he did not want to go to school today. He has MCAS testing today which we affectionately call it the Mass. Child Abuse System.:rotfl2::rotfl2: Testing is basically preparing to take the test in high school and DS felt he should not have to take it on his birthday.

Happy Birthday to your DS. Enjoy having a teenager in the house.

Hey guys, this may be off topic, but just a quick heads up...

Not that anyone is going down there but they are also out in the Keys. A rash of accidents has them stepping up enforcement even higher than their usual tough standards.

A lot of extra spoiling in on the agenda.

Happy Birthday to DW and congrats on the new trip. And you are a smart man for the extra spoiling.

Anyone else watching the Arnold Palmer Invitational yesterday? There was a nasty storm that tore through Orlando yesterday afternoon... even talks of a twister being spotted. Doesn't look like any of the dads were in the World yesterday... would have been pretty crazy being there during the storm.

Followed some pics on twitter of the storm's aftermath. The HM queue was a mess and it knocked the peanut butter out of an outside dining area at City Walk.

:eek: Wow... spring break is ON like Donkey Kong. Sheesh

We go every year during the F&GF at Epcot. DW really likes the topiaries and the overall theming of the park really colors the place up nicely. They usually have several stations set up around Future World closer to Innoventions where they talk about gardening and have little projects to work on. Overall... I don't think this is a big driver to get people into the parks... but it certainly adds to the decor!

I bet! They were saying gusts up to 86 MPH in places. Crazy. Got nothing down there by you? (I didn't follow the radar too closely the rest of the day).

:scared1: So the spring break weeks have started. I'm making a note to never go the middle of March.:thumbsup2

Didn't you just see Barry's post. Even the flowers have a que.:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yes...this car. I even gave them the "Hey jackwagon there's cop's ahead Blue and Red and blue light courtesy flash".

They ignored it....guess they thought it might work out.

I can assure you if you get pulled over by FHP, and you have out of state tags, you ain't getting a break.

Welcome to Spring Break.:crowded:

Some wind and rain but nothing like Orlando. Seas were bad though. The dive boats didn't go out yesterday and when they don't go out, it is rough out there.

Just in case any of you like old-school video games, or would like to let your kids experience them...

Ducktales - Remastered
I don't know about the part about old school video games, but you had me at "Ducktales."

Seriously... whenever I get the courtesy lights, I smile and wave and slow down. They definitely deserved it.

Er... I meant if, not whenever. :rolleyes1 :lmao:
