My son called to tell us he's scheduled for his 3rd year crew member flight in the #7 jet on Saturday! If these budget cuts mess this up, I'll really be annoyed!

Mike, I hope it works out :thumbsup2

Evening guys,

We had our Middle School JV Boys District championships today and here are two of the happy winners..

The boys played amazing in the final, totally dominating in a 64-15 win All the boys except one found the scoresheet, DS chipped in with 4 points and 5 boards.

One good thing about the final was both of the schools are feeder schools for the same high school so the future is looking bright for that school.

Congrats :cool1:

Good Morning!

Hey, that's my line :lmao:

Morning guys. Thanks for all the prayers. We hope to hear something no later than Friday.

Morning David and everyone else!

Its going to be another rainy Tuesday here in Va Beach, So Don, you may want to bring an umbrella!!

Matt

Congratulations!!! Seeing the look on his face and knowing the pride that you have in your heart makes me proud of both of you!

Good picture. Congrats.

Whoa....wait...wait wait. There's basketball in Canada? When did this happen?
I thought there was just hockey, curling and Canadian Rules Football.
:lmao:

Thanks Guys. We're pretty proud of our boy and all the boys on the team. DS was one of 4 grade 6 boys on the team and all 4 of them made important contributions to the team.

And yes there is basketball in Canada. Invented by a Canadian and the current Naismith winner is a Canadian. I love watching hockey and playing some pick up but I'm pretty happy DS never gave playing any real serious thought. With basketball and soccer I don't have to sit in cold rinks at 5:30 in the morning.
:rotfl2:

He's got a dream
He's got a dream
See, I ain't as cruel and vicious as I seem

Though I do like breaking femurs
You can count me with the dreamers
Like everybody else, I've got a dream

:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao:

You win that round.... :earsboy:

Hot Damn! Seton Hall 66 Villanova 65. Down by two with ten seconds to go, they steal the ball and then hit a three. Last second Nova shot is short. Not a big deal in the NCAA basketball scheme of things but broke a huge losing streak. Celebration in South Orange.
Is the Princess lighting fires and tipping over cars?

Congratulations to both of you! As Charlie Sheen would say...Winning!:thumbsup2

Called and was able to get reservations at most times we wanted without much trouble. I told the CM that I was not able to get reservations online and she looked into the ressie and said that there was a problem with our registration.:confused3 It was showing August dates, but the system was reading April for reservations. So I guess the computer was showing it was not in our ressie window. Glad we figured it out. She sent a note to tech support to have it fixed.

BOG was still booked. It seems they are just telling everyone to do CS at lunch.

Thanks guys, I feel better now.

Sorry you couldn't get BOG. I'm sure it books up quickly. Andy (afwdwfan) has given the quick-service lunch high marks, though.

I must be getting old. Had an appointment for a physical this morning and now I'm waiting at the lab for a cholesterol and diabetes test. First time the doc ever mentioned the "C" word to me.

I've been getting them for years. Heart disease runs in the family. My sister the nurse said to lay off pop (soda to all you non midwestern types), fried foods, and red meats for 24 hours before the test. They will boost your numbers big time.

Before you say it…

Yes… James Naismith was Canadian. Point to your side.
Springfield, MA is where he was working. So it’s a little like all the Canadian actors that have abandoned their own country to work in the US.

So, it was developed by a Canadian, but it was not created in Canada.
So either we’re both right, or we’re both wrong.

But we all know the state of Indiana is where basketball became significant.
