Yes around here it pretty much is the choice fundraiser, depending on how good it's put together, a lot of them in one night pull in more then I make in a year

I still have almost 6 months but call me OCD...I am trying to perfect posting pics to the Boards via mobile phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII and the DISBoard app. Just not sure how to post to the boards in a mobile manner. I have no issues using my laptop and Photobucket, but figure there's a more tech savvy way to do it from smart phones.

Best answer gets a free Dole Whip credit on my tab at Aloha Islae and some extra bacon that I'll snag from Tusker House. I'll put it in a sandwich bag and put it in a "to be determined later" location inside the Bone Yard.

Catching up on the boards. Sorry to here about you being under the weather. Thursday night I was enjoying the NFL draft and got chills, aches, etc. Woke up feeling terrible and called off work. Couldn't get out of bed until 11am. Went to an urgent care and had a low grade fever and was diagnosed with strep throat. Feeling better now but it hurt to even move. I hate antibiotics, but they seemed to make a big difference. Hope you are on the mend!

Not much help. What I usually do when I am at WDW is to take my pictures and upload them to photobucket. Then, when everyone is sleeping or I am awake in the AM doing the live trip report, I use the iPad because it is easier to plan, type, and copy/paste the different ones I want to keep.

So these are instructions based on an iphone apps but photobucket has an app that you can use to upload images from your phone.
1. Open the photobucket app and select the image you want to post to the board.
2. click the little "i" in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
3. Click on the Direct URL. You should get a message that the URL has been copied to the clipboard.
4. Open the disboard app and navigate to where you are going to post.
5. Once you are in the "reply" screen click the "+" in the upper right hand corner click the "image link" button.
6. Paste the URL in that you copied from photobucket.

this seems like a lot of steps so posting from your room or doing photo-updates to facebook might be the easiest way to do it.

Cleaned a small portion of DD's room. I filled a storage tub, 25 gallon, with all kinds of Barbie crap

On the bright side DW has been more willing to let stuff we are not using go. Three trash bags full just from Saturday

What Ryan said is pretty accurate to the Android. You'll find the "i" button he metioned, but you'll have to probably hit the menu button inside the photobucket app to open it.

Also, instead of copying the Direct URL in the Photobucket App, I just go to the very bottom one which is an IMG URL. This already has the {IMG} {/IMG} tags around the URL, so all you have to do is open the Disboards app and paste it straight in as you would normal text and you don't have to go through the steps in the Disboards app to add images.

It really isn't too time consuming to jump back and forth between the 2 apps and post a few pictures if that's what you want to do. I will add that I've tried a few different photo hosts, and I have found that Photobucket really is the easiest to use when posting from my phone.

Had a similar type of weekend. We cleared everything out of the bedrooms upstairs to get the carpets cleaned. Next steps are to fix a couple of sheet-rock issues and re-sod the front yard then we may be looking at putting the house on the market. At ten years I’ve lived in this house longer then anywhere else and we’ve just about hit the right time to downsize (which is the opposite of what y’all are trying to do).

Morning everyone....

Productive day yesterday, Cleaned up the kid's room and DW and I sorted out their clothes, getting rid if stuff that don't fit etc....

Audrey's had some issues lately. She had brief stomach issues Friday night, a little sick, no deal, fine afterwards. Saturday, no problems, but yesterday she statred up about not feeling well (as soon as we started cleaning her room) and again threw up (all over me too). No fevers or anything, not sure what the problem is...some have suggested its related to the slight cold she has, but still

Week of evening shifts this week, looking forward to the weekend off though. Was supposed to be a Sarnia weekend, but the Monday we were going to take off is a big event at the school we already paid for, and now DW has band requirements Sunday. Might try heading down to Niagara Falls Saturday after Amelia's cookie selling blitz.

I appreciate the suggestion, and if I were to download a game app…
that might not be a bad one.

But being “OLD” (yah I admit it) I never really got into gaming. The home console revolution took off just as I moved out on my own and I never had the cash to spend on such extravagances then. As such I missed getting hooked on ‘em. My boy has been raised of the things like most of y’all but video games of any type just don’t interest me.

Sounds like everyone was in "spring cleaning" mode this weekend. We had our annual yard-work day. 5 cu. yd. of mulch to shovel and spread, weeding, trimming tree branches and bushes, etc. My back hurts.

I spent Friday cleaning out the garage and will be spending today doing the yard work. Every year after I finish the yard stuff I find myself wondering why we ever moved out of the townhouse years ago.

Sunday we put together the new gas grill.
